<br />
Soooo I haven't used this blog for years... To be honest I stopped making cards for years and didn't keep up with checking out blogs.<br />
But here I am making cards again and need a place to post without my non crafty friends wondering whats wrong with me on Facebook because its not a spider or reptile post I'm making 😂<br />
<br />
Anywhoo I made something with really old stuff I had and a few new papers. Sorry the pics aren't the best, using a phone instead of camera doesn't help the situation I guess.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I can't even remember how to use blogger and not going to lie, this post was a struggle but maybe I'll start posting now and again.<br />
Hope you are all keeping well , until next time.... </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
So I haven't blogged for a looooong time! I'm wandering if everyone still blogs? I mostly use facebook to see what everyone is up to but thought I would pop on here and do a post since my blog has been dead for about 2 years!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I stopped crafting well over a year ago as life kinda got in the way and I lost my mojo. Also had problems with my hand/wrist which is still ongoing and makes crafting difficult, but seeing all the gorgeous creations on facebook from my crafty friends has brought me back to the world of craft and I finally made some cards!! :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I must admit, I miss my challenge blogs, By The Cute and Girly and Digital Tuesday Challenge, but I needed a break as it was a lot of work organising sponsors etc for every challenge and it got to the point where I was seeing it as a chore rather than fun, so I think I made the right decision to close them.....you never know though, they might start up again at some point ;) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sorry about the pic quality, I had to use my phone as my camera charger is broken (must remember to order a new one!) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Images are from Saturated Canary, papers and embellishments are all really old stuff I had in my stash as I haven't bought anything for a long time.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Not the best cards I've ever made and I struggled with the colouring- it's strange colouring after all this time lol, but it's a start and hopefully I will get better as I go and my confidence comes back.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by (not sure anyone will to be honest) and hope you are all well :) </div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finally have a card to share! Well actually I have two!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have a lot going on at home just now and my heart is just not in crafting or blogging just now, which is why I haven't posted on here for ages, but I didn't want to let my design team girls down again, so I forced myself to make a few cards :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first is for <a href="http://www.bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/">By The Cute and Girly</a> for our April challenge which is Vintage.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor this month is <a href="http://www.teahousebridge.co.uk/">Tea House Bridge</a> who is giving away this lovely selection of goodies to the winner.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCIwujelPDXwq-R6zYx90Mia45m4PvoXpD6TcZ2lUT3dMx9tyq0ATDDYaQ0ksWDVxAU_Di-rOwi3C3PorkbqtKdx2OAORUVMUab59hTcfuhvqiv2cbCHMlJp6Q0Bm5d-GLPB4NRt4Knnqb/s320/Prize.jpg" /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The lovely owner also sent me some goodies for the design team to play with, so I have used some of them on my card :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3W8UVnYhXDunT-BQ8epZqVNi6VGUSro-LqiexueGDLQnS3TbhPIpFvjmu82wH3JNhO63RJD4XPQU08_ziJcdHxjGYCbBERGQjeQ0XLwN6jJbhzsZ9fqZE6g-zyC-kpJ7EH7hyrdT3Muk8/s1600/006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3W8UVnYhXDunT-BQ8epZqVNi6VGUSro-LqiexueGDLQnS3TbhPIpFvjmu82wH3JNhO63RJD4XPQU08_ziJcdHxjGYCbBERGQjeQ0XLwN6jJbhzsZ9fqZE6g-zyC-kpJ7EH7hyrdT3Muk8/s400/006.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used a freebie image that I have had for a long long time and coloured with Copics. The papers are Prima and some old sheet music. I distressed all the edges and inked them with vintage photo distress ink.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The pom pom trim and cute flower buttons are from Tea House Bridge.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Paper flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, crochet flower from Little Snippets (link in my sidebar) and the cute little charm I found in my stash and thought it went well with the image.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh the gorgeous lace which you can't see very well in the pic was a gift from one of my teamies at BTC&G and friend Ger, and the sentiment is a Pink Gem stamp.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm505ShfBt4rp2qDad6wBFvuzw_7eOYRzj26-LLnqh-iwwJqR_iuhwpEazQXpdxy275agRB-a6FellfhG5q4IQtL-O4znFrq2Zo4ArY3vxv0X_GRnKPv3B4yDG22DHz28KtnnhHcwzz6qE/s1600/007.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="264" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm505ShfBt4rp2qDad6wBFvuzw_7eOYRzj26-LLnqh-iwwJqR_iuhwpEazQXpdxy275agRB-a6FellfhG5q4IQtL-O4znFrq2Zo4ArY3vxv0X_GRnKPv3B4yDG22DHz28KtnnhHcwzz6qE/s320/007.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A close up so you can see the charm better :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can also see the pom pom trim and one of the buttons from our sponsor better in this pic.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My second card is for Digital Tuesday where the challenge theme is Springtime.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've had huge problems with the post over there today and for some reason although the post was showing when I went to edit, it wouldn't show on the actual blog! I now have it fixed though and the post is up :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor this week over there is <a href="http://www.the-papernest.com/cat/shop/">The Paper Nest Dolls</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
who are giving away a $25 gift certificate to the winner!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used one of their images on my card and kept it quite simple as I really wasn't in the mood for crafting last night........I still love to colour, but just can't be bothered making the card....weird!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hopefully I will get the crafting bug back soon!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVALjFdP28Um-5iJO8V36mAp62DjyXuYfu6eokxTQGOfA84uLmu7LI3i_Cjm7XuY7RlmHHTod-oMXe9jhzR-4aH87RuH05tMHtnyQyCyL045PRbQeZhr4sX_XTC0Aw4HlQ9eZ2LMXx8zCm/s1600/009.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="362" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVALjFdP28Um-5iJO8V36mAp62DjyXuYfu6eokxTQGOfA84uLmu7LI3i_Cjm7XuY7RlmHHTod-oMXe9jhzR-4aH87RuH05tMHtnyQyCyL045PRbQeZhr4sX_XTC0Aw4HlQ9eZ2LMXx8zCm/s400/009.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sorry about the rubbish pics, I had to take them quickly this morning before there was much light.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The image I have used is called <a href="http://www.the-papernest.com/product/playingintherain/">Playing In The Rain</a>. I was going to use a different image at first which was a Springtime image, but I thought this one captured what Spring has been like here this year! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers- mostly Copics.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are MME, ribbon from my stash, border was cut using a Cart-us die and the butterfly was done with a die that came free in a magazine!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I cut the butterfly out twice, one on orange shimmery card stock and the other on patterned paper, just to give it a bit of dimension and then I added a pearl bead body which had fallen off a store bought butterfly embellishment, so I thought I would make use of it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiabhbYrZxsXqNDUav271d9kJmIiInX9y0rPVRl_tLV_XBTRj2r1CBw8F5OYEf6a9r-kNRViiHg8brOr9fq-Wrx8_jqmvD3dbb-xhIyMUAZlKb-7FCGsprIBJvARiY9DO8kXz_-2I2OG2RA/s1600/010.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiabhbYrZxsXqNDUav271d9kJmIiInX9y0rPVRl_tLV_XBTRj2r1CBw8F5OYEf6a9r-kNRViiHg8brOr9fq-Wrx8_jqmvD3dbb-xhIyMUAZlKb-7FCGsprIBJvARiY9DO8kXz_-2I2OG2RA/s320/010.jpg" width="271" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm not sure about the colouring of the hair on this girl. I'm rubbish at hair like this- at the ends where it just trails off , but I think it looks ok?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtPUENOWMmw6RsiG1r6eyxr1FsW1slBdflcPY0oYHMTN3c0zkKXnLT9KmfzheNYPGwR75gbhHKAQL1MOlfbVKO0QLr4orL3UQGTJh9IvNqXfG8UHygnjL41UIgB2P7iI9s-LE0cOECW6fk/s1600/011.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="263" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtPUENOWMmw6RsiG1r6eyxr1FsW1slBdflcPY0oYHMTN3c0zkKXnLT9KmfzheNYPGwR75gbhHKAQL1MOlfbVKO0QLr4orL3UQGTJh9IvNqXfG8UHygnjL41UIgB2P7iI9s-LE0cOECW6fk/s320/011.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally a close up of the butterfly so you can see the dimension.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm back with my dt card for<a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/"> Digital Tuesday</a> where the challenge theme is Easter.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is actually the first Easter card I have made this year (yeah I know I am way behind everyone else! lol).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor this week is <a href="http://www.pprcrafts.com/"><b>Your or Mine Paper Crafts</b></a> who is offering a $10 gift certificate for her store.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For a change, this is not a digital sponsor. She has lots of lovely goodies in her store from the likes of Spellbinders, The Greeting Farm, Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn, MME, Making Memories and loads more!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>And as well as giving away a $10 gift certificate to our winner, she is also offering 20% off in store while the challenge is running! So why not pop over to the <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">challenge blog </a>and see all the details.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On to my card.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis3ywc6RA-5TMFkZh4ZKOwjTmopXEHY0JMihDDJuch9pHxj6xoneuNUhDUzPmkiryV4yX2z31IwD0fIIxAm_tcBCUFSecx8IivWZrlix-AaAc01rQdNbnfh9eR3H6S3X_iZ1Mmp2H5XgJR/s1600/001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="385" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEis3ywc6RA-5TMFkZh4ZKOwjTmopXEHY0JMihDDJuch9pHxj6xoneuNUhDUzPmkiryV4yX2z31IwD0fIIxAm_tcBCUFSecx8IivWZrlix-AaAc01rQdNbnfh9eR3H6S3X_iZ1Mmp2H5XgJR/s400/001.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used an image from The Greeting Farm and coloured it with a mix of Copics and Promarkers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know it's a boy image, but who ever says that your can't use a boy on a girly card?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are My Minds Eye, and I cut a few bits from the elements page that comes in the pad- all the paper flowers and the border strip. I think it makes a nice change to what I normally do with embellishments, and it's super cheap too! :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had to use "proper" flowers too though or else I would be having withdrawal symptoms lol. All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also used some pom pom trim which I got in a local craft shop months ago and a piece of lace.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've never really been a fan of bright colours, but I must admit that I'm loving them just now. I would of never normally bought the green rose, but it came in a mixed pack and I really like it. I think it's perfect for a Spring/Easter card. Nice and bright and cheery :) Just what I need since it's still snowing here and sooo cold!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for stopping by.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I have a couple of dt cards to share today. Starting with my card for the challenge at <a href="http://www.bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/">By The Cute and Girly</a> where the challenge this month is "Favourite Things".</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was going to use an image from Bugaboo Stamps who is one of our sponsors this month (the other sponsor is Lili of the Valley), but I ran out of paper to print on, so I had to use something I've been using up images that I had previously stamped/printed.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/">Bugaboo Stamps</a> are offering one winner digital images (winners choice) and <a href="http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/">Lili Of The Valley</a> are offering a £10 gift certificate.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmUXDNxDAAZZxLF_Ltjx1nij9Nn-gEaWepl8GlLKZ5moMJ6LUchzjJBv3Mm6QqLcGkZ8m9iJvTFad_BDc9xIVCv-1Vg1MP-kw5Av70eMTMC-HM5cCaGdKQbad3t-ChuKAMMYLjPz1dtfAz/s1600/004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="371" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmUXDNxDAAZZxLF_Ltjx1nij9Nn-gEaWepl8GlLKZ5moMJ6LUchzjJBv3Mm6QqLcGkZ8m9iJvTFad_BDc9xIVCv-1Vg1MP-kw5Av70eMTMC-HM5cCaGdKQbad3t-ChuKAMMYLjPz1dtfAz/s400/004.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I didn't have much of a choice of pre stamped or printed images, so I chose this Tilda and coloured her up with Copics. Not sure what occasion this card would be for though lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I couldn't decide on one or two favourite things to use, so I used loads! haha</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So my favourites are, lace, flowers, pearls, and of course my favourite things is Copics :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The checked paper is from a little craft shop that prints their own papers, the music paper is from an old sheet music book and the crown one I think is Raspberry Road.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I can't remember where I got the gorgeous lace from, but I love it:) Flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I attacked them all with stickles lol, pearl heart thing is from Hobbycraft, pink trim I got in a pack from Poundland! and the pretty crochet flower is from Little Snippets Etsy store.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQnfv9Z1wZiIvCZFSFmWTRXTTt3wCfyMSMiObqmE-dP2KYDjsbsEuuRZirHWPZykquOjznUpvPD2wcQEhyphenhyphenJB8hGRON3G04AMP8HBYbX2RfVieeQ448Ens1VhyxoIcIGS7BjrBMn7N8Jxmd/s1600/003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQnfv9Z1wZiIvCZFSFmWTRXTTt3wCfyMSMiObqmE-dP2KYDjsbsEuuRZirHWPZykquOjznUpvPD2wcQEhyphenhyphenJB8hGRON3G04AMP8HBYbX2RfVieeQ448Ens1VhyxoIcIGS7BjrBMn7N8Jxmd/s320/003.jpg" width="315" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A close up of the lovely crochet flowers from Geraldine at Little Snippets, just because I love em :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added a button and threaded through a scrap of lace.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My other card is for <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge%2Cblogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday </a>where the challenge this week is "Frame It", and I really didn't want to post it because I hate my colouring on this card (which is why I am posting it today instead of Tuesday when I should of posted it!)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used Copics and the dark brown colours went all waxy and streaky :( and I didn't have time to start over again, or another image to colour anyway. The rest of the image is ok, but the hair is horrible! Just skip over her head! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrY4zqUQyPEBfSSgRNBhGIujOWEvVHMlzmoSqMOsU3mOT9pzHvQZD8MN0VxQWAwFbu9a0OzPGO0rYwA_yltf0-Rb3ZW5JirYdaNHwtivnbjQE3fLyWM-a20VxVmOuXGMGLV-ZotpcJDNum/s1600/006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="371" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrY4zqUQyPEBfSSgRNBhGIujOWEvVHMlzmoSqMOsU3mOT9pzHvQZD8MN0VxQWAwFbu9a0OzPGO0rYwA_yltf0-Rb3ZW5JirYdaNHwtivnbjQE3fLyWM-a20VxVmOuXGMGLV-ZotpcJDNum/s400/006.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I do love this image though :) It's from La-La Lan Crafts. I cut her out and stuck her onto a frame digi image which is from our sponsor this week- <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/">My Grafico</a>. It's from the <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/illustrations-cliparts/delicate-frames/prod_3317.html">Delicate Frames </a>digital stamp set by Lil Ellaboudy Design I'm just glad that I printed the frame out before I ran out of paper! I wanted to add little pearls to the dots on the frame, but I couldn't find any. I know I have but they have vanished....probably some little hands have taken them....aka my Daughter!! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I added some stickles instead.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are by Prima, flowers which again are stickled are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the pretty butterfly I got from The Works and I used a little piece of stringed pearls beside the flowers. They pearls were white but I wanted them blue, so I just coloured them with one of the Copics that I used to colour the image so it would match perfectly.....don't ya just love markers :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh forgot to say that the prize this week is any digital set from <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/">My Grafico </a>(no price limitation, so the set the winner chooses could be worth up to $20!).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">The hop starts at <a href="http://amyscreativepursuits.blogspot.com/" style="text-decoration: none;">Amy's</a> blog, so you will want to start there.</span></div>
</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">I didn't have time to make a card for this weeks challenge, but I made one last week just for fun which I forgot to blog, and it had buttons and bling, so it came in handy for this weeks challenge post :)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">I like to use our sponsors images as much as possible, but as I already had this card made, I couldn't this week.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">The image I used is from La-La Land Crafts and I coloured with Copics and added loads of stickles, then stuck her onto a die cut frame which was done with a Nellie Snellen die.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">The papers are Prima, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, flourishes were done with a Marianne die, the funky lacey ribbon stuff was a gift from a friend and the buttons and ribbon which has sequins, beads and glittery bits on it were from my stash.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">A close up of the image (sorry it's a bit blurry, my camera is really playing up, think it's time to buy a new one.....again!!). I love these images, they are so much fun to colour.</span></div>

<br />
I took a funny angled pic so you can see the sparkle on the image, and you can just see some of the beads and sequins on the ribbon peeking through :)<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">I haven't really had a chance to shop for a prize yet as we just decided to do this hop last week and I was rushing about doing wedding stuff, so I decided my prize would be a mystery prize (it's just as much a mystery to me as it is to you as I have no idea what it will be yet! lol).</span></div>
</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif;">So whoever wins my prize will get a surprise package! </span><br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
This weeks challenge at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> is "Pink and White" and we are sponsored by <a href="http://someoddgirl.com/">Some Odd Girl.</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you will have probably noticed that I love pink :) but I actually had a hard time finding papers that I liked that were just pink or pink and white. I did find some though and decided that I would follow the sketch over on the La-la Land Crafts facebook page and used a cute <a href="http://www.lalalandcrafts.com/">La-La land</a> image. This is the first time I have used any of these images, but I have had my eye on them for a while and since Irina had a 20% sale on for presidents day, I caved in and bought a couple of digis ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Aren't these images just the cutest? This one is called <a href="http://www.lalalandcrafts.com/Sweet-Friends-Marci-Digi-Stamp-DGS5156.htm">Sweet Friends Marci</a> and I coloured her with Copics and a couple of Promarkers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are a mix from different companies, the scalloped circle is from a Forever Friends pad, rose one is by Wild Rose Studio and the spotty one I have no idea where that came from! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used a Cart us die for the border and some pretty lace that I got from my friend Geraldine (thank you!). The sketch had some ornate corners and I don't have a corner die, so I improvised. I used a Marianne Designs frame die then just cut off the corners and used them :) The flowers are all from Wild Orchid crafts and the pretty butterfly I got from The Works.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went a bit mad with the stickles on this one lol. I glittered the flowers, the corner and border die cuts and also around the edge of the papers, except the for the spotty strip. I actually didn't use any glitter on the image though, so I didn't do too bad lol.</div>

Wish I had a bit more time to work on colouring up the image, but I was in a bit of a rush. I would of added a bit more shading to her skirt and boots but it looks ok as it is :)</div>

Finally a close up of the pretty butterfly. Just because I love them and they were cheap lol. I got them from The Works which is a shop that I rarely go into since we don't have one near me, but I was in Aberdeen last week and popped in :) They had these and lots of other embellies and ribbons etc and at only £1 a pack and they are doing a 3 for 2 deal, so I got 3 different packs for £2!! I didn't really look at these properly, just chucked them in my basket along with some ribbon and heart embellies, but I wish I had got more because they are so pretty and you only get 4 in a pack. Think I will have to pop a pile in my basket next time I'm there :) </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
We are more than half way through February already! Where did it go? This month has just crept up on my and I just realised that it's Liam's (my sons) 15th birthday on Friday! Haven't got him any pressies yet, so better get my bum in gear and go shopping for boy stuff. I hate shopping for Liam because he never tells me what he would like, but suppose someones got to do it lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So the mid month post at <a href="http://www.bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/">By The Cute & Girly</a> has just been posted and I have a card to show that I made for this months "Roses Are Red" challenge.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It doesn't have to be Valentine related since Valentines day is now past (hope you all got spoiled!!), you can just use the colour red or some roses, or however else you would like to interpret the theme.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I decided to go with the colour red and roses :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1Ldil7woa2dyEUA4haQhUWr_C_DmzPniXKeuehP7Ex1Z24CnUrpc1WOOJPST7zmJSn35vqISsYLgsBisGC8t4_TOcvyri1ocOovCj0uUZ6VNO_wDnEnFJxTX5N7y-IPuQR6AHJMPK2Ljj/s1600/009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="386" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1Ldil7woa2dyEUA4haQhUWr_C_DmzPniXKeuehP7Ex1Z24CnUrpc1WOOJPST7zmJSn35vqISsYLgsBisGC8t4_TOcvyri1ocOovCj0uUZ6VNO_wDnEnFJxTX5N7y-IPuQR6AHJMPK2Ljj/s400/009.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used an old CC Designs image that I have had for a few years and coloured her with mostly Promarkers and a couple of Copics, then cut her out with a Marianne Designs die.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The die cut off some of her hair at the top and I really couldn't be bothered colouring up another image, so I just placed the tiny die cut bits back it and stuck them down so all her hair is there now lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are some Forever Friends ones that came with a magazine and I just happened to get the magazine on the day I made this card, so as the papers were the right colours, that's what I used :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used my Martha Stewart heart punch and some white ric rac for the border and used a couple of the hearts left over from the border on the image.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All the flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and I gliitered them for a bit of sparkle, and the flourishes and leaf die cuts were also done with Marianne dies.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOTmPZRFnqJcNLyXrlgCC_C_8pcAs2AlWFdtTlC8EeVdCg-CA3D623m1hZ0okohVubab7RpIcZevOz2GTgNL9g_kmYtosM2vXs4GD9jLFs-jadvEYy2ah_CESv2MHyGKbfJrzCD8E85WUE/s1600/010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOTmPZRFnqJcNLyXrlgCC_C_8pcAs2AlWFdtTlC8EeVdCg-CA3D623m1hZ0okohVubab7RpIcZevOz2GTgNL9g_kmYtosM2vXs4GD9jLFs-jadvEYy2ah_CESv2MHyGKbfJrzCD8E85WUE/s320/010.JPG" width="231" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can see in this pic that I have "paper pieced" the hair back together lol. It looks really obvious here as I took a real close up pic, but you don't actually really notice it in real life.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To be honest the card will just sit in a box somewhere anyway like most of my cards do, so nobody will actually receive it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Is it just me who has hundreds of cards in boxes that will never be used, or is anyone else the same?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What do you do with all the cards that you make (except for ones you have made specifically to give to someone). Do you sell them? I can't get any of the shops here to sell my cards :( Although the gift shop owner here does love my cards, but she has said no to selling other peoples cards, so it wouldn't be fair to them if she sold mine........I understand that, but it is annoying that I know she likes my cards but won't sell them incase it hurts someone else's feelings. Oh well, just means more cards to sit gathering dust lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh before I forget, our sponsor this month is<a href="http://scrapable.co/store/Template-Dreams/"> Template Dreams</a> who is offering $5 for the winner to spend on digi products from her selections of digi kits and papers etc.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
She has some really pretty ones and they are all very reasonable priced :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Right, I'm off to finish up another card and then get started on my dt card for next weeks Digital Tuesday challenge.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by and the lovely comments you leave.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The challenge over at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> this week is Up, Up and Away, hence my title today :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor is <a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/">Bugaboo Stamps</a> who always generously offer the design team an image each to play with, so I took them up on their offer and made a card with one of their digis.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxYz3xVJanXgB-6vHSJKcc1jFgRxGv4NrSUKM_nmsj0TJSk32Rp6ddW_cqr1bKBbbgW8obE3ASxaQQmV_txfIarrrNkSkWcz2I3ll4xIs17CeWrdwZP8V8lT4V-td0wMd0Yj-QTG1U-oF_/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="383" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxYz3xVJanXgB-6vHSJKcc1jFgRxGv4NrSUKM_nmsj0TJSk32Rp6ddW_cqr1bKBbbgW8obE3ASxaQQmV_txfIarrrNkSkWcz2I3ll4xIs17CeWrdwZP8V8lT4V-td0wMd0Yj-QTG1U-oF_/s400/001.JPG" title=" " width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The image I used today is from the Kidz line and is called Girl Balloon, and you can find her <a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/KIDZ--Girl-balloon_p_2601.html">here</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I coloured her with a mix of Copics and Promarkers. As I have said many times, I do prefer Copics, but I'm not too keen on most of the pinks as most of them are very bright, so I normally use Promarkers when I'm coloiring pink as they have a softer look to them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also added some stickles to bits on her hat and also to the highlights on the balloon.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTMlbMe5wd-bqq5P_yBqA3dWuJUHpAsMngpc-NCpvApgoj7Tt1rLho41AyKnFin9nWnXZlv0xy7HcK05t5XNC_3d1_3BgzWzOF7TzBMBcE8CCbfft32E5vreEjtodI98Eg1-Unhw-ManGy/s1600/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTMlbMe5wd-bqq5P_yBqA3dWuJUHpAsMngpc-NCpvApgoj7Tt1rLho41AyKnFin9nWnXZlv0xy7HcK05t5XNC_3d1_3BgzWzOF7TzBMBcE8CCbfft32E5vreEjtodI98Eg1-Unhw-ManGy/s320/004.JPG" title=" " width="232" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think these Kidz images are quite cute :) Only problem I have is that the lines are quite thick on these images and they tend to bleed a bit when using light colours like the skin. Although that's probably just my printer. I never have problems with printer running normally, only when the image has thick dark lines, and I have tried heat setting, leaving for a few days, using cheap hairspray and all the other tricks I can think of, but it doesn't make any difference, so I just make sure to be extra careful when colouring the light bits.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
However, even after being careful colouring this image and not really having bleeding, I later noticed (once the whole card was finished!) that there is a blue pencil or pen mark on the image which was defo not there when I was colouring it! I think I must of sat the card on top of one of the kids colouring pencils while I was getting my camera! I was too scared to try rub it off incase it smeared all over the image, so I just left it lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can see it in the above pic if you look closely (under the balloon string).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers I used are ones that I got from my friend Ger (thank you hunnie, you spoil me!! :)) and I've went and put the pad away and forgot to take a note of who makes it. It might be MME but I'm not sure.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used Coredinations to mat with and glittered all the edges with stardust stickles.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The lace and ribbon is from my stash (this was my last piece of ribbon, but Geraldine is sooo lovely and sent me a pile so I now have lots of new lovely ribbon to use :))</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdmnkY3BRQg6ivFL5-bY3vTEZO7L5j51xZwo-nusOuhsJLLv0TcjiXZnEKUgp7IRz3wZ5D1FTNiWng79z4Z5WrZJKI4lrzg0krOz2bTwL3DfUP6LXemKnmG5VAFNNl-mCsp5DWraz4UJIn/s1600/003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="264" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdmnkY3BRQg6ivFL5-bY3vTEZO7L5j51xZwo-nusOuhsJLLv0TcjiXZnEKUgp7IRz3wZ5D1FTNiWng79z4Z5WrZJKI4lrzg0krOz2bTwL3DfUP6LXemKnmG5VAFNNl-mCsp5DWraz4UJIn/s320/003.JPG" title=" " width="320" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7wdDCLx00RASpwElTOvLst3Wu_H9F9OzfxZW5Dz0m7sYpM7lcXAFl4DPhe_wd-78N2YcDgxCa-nAinAdPseTrFn1RVMBXNSZmYORVGIXgl9Z2e2PQ4DqT3AZEjkRYpcaNKmiHEmCiT1sG/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7wdDCLx00RASpwElTOvLst3Wu_H9F9OzfxZW5Dz0m7sYpM7lcXAFl4DPhe_wd-78N2YcDgxCa-nAinAdPseTrFn1RVMBXNSZmYORVGIXgl9Z2e2PQ4DqT3AZEjkRYpcaNKmiHEmCiT1sG/s320/002.JPG" title=" " width="279" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The little bunting, was cut out with My Favorite Thing mini pennant dies in the same papers and I also glittered the edges, and the flowers were made from the same paper pad using a Cart Us flower die, and of course I glittered those too lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh I also used a Marianne die and a MFT die for the flourishes.<br />
<br />
I'm entering this card into the challenge at <a href="http://totallypapercrafts.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/challenge-152-make-your-own">Totally Papercrafts</a> where the challenge this week is to make you own Embellishments (my flowers and bunting) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's all from me for today. All 3 of my kids have been away since Friday afternoon so I have had nothing to do since then and have been soooo bored! but today we are going into town (Barry and I) to meet Liam and go kilt shopping (well looking in kilt shops for kilts that we can hire for Barry's sisters wedding which is at the beginning of March), and maybe see if I can find some shoes to go with my new dress. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I very rarely wear dresses (I sometimes wear skirts in the Summer but not very often and I only have a few) but of course I needed to buy one for the wedding and I really liked it until I tried it on, but now I'm not so sure lol, maybe I will like it more when I find the perfect pair of shoes :/ At least it's an excuse to buy new shoes right? lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then we will get the bus home with Liam (I hate not having a car now!!) and pick up the girls from their Nana's in Stonehaven on the way.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So lots to do today and my piece will be shattered by tea time lol, but I've missed them all so much and am glad they are coming home today :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for stopping by today.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Please leave a comment if you have the time and I will come visit you back :) </div>

Oh and don't forget to check out the <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">challenge</a> and the other dt memebrs blogs. They have all done a fab job again this week! :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I think I'm finally getting back into the swing of things and blogging :) 3 posts over the last few days......that's a miracle!! lol<br />
I'm enjoying cardmaking and blogging again, so think it's maybe time to look for another dt position to keep me occupied....... Of course I have <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> and <a href="http://www.bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/">By The Cute and Girly</a>, but I have weekdays to myself with the kids all being at school and I miss being on other design teams.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, I have a dt card to show for<a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/"> Digital Tuesday Challenge</a>, where the theme this week is "Hearts" and our sponsor is<a href="http://shop.sansdesign.se/"> Sans Design, </a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
who is giving away 5 digis of the winners choice and is also offering a runners up prize of 2 digis if we reach over 50 entries (which I'm sure we will :))</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7sGA-kH6l2VbsErfNUxjHxS22OplIWJVsu7RTIDTfH7Af3M2wprbvOd41aakUqz-MRqSuMMNTtk07PO2U1GLmYrB_RaDvlKzB8ydPntpM_yMefPL1oay-eLXw3C0CzHS8olAoJeuo397i/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" title=" "><img border="0" height="388" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7sGA-kH6l2VbsErfNUxjHxS22OplIWJVsu7RTIDTfH7Af3M2wprbvOd41aakUqz-MRqSuMMNTtk07PO2U1GLmYrB_RaDvlKzB8ydPntpM_yMefPL1oay-eLXw3C0CzHS8olAoJeuo397i/s400/002.JPG" title=" " width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The pretty image is by Sans Design and is called <a href="http://shop.sansdesign.se/product_info.php?cPath=23_1_4&products_id=34&osCsid=0bbiha9a8i8s96hm0eeov6q4p5">Valentines</a>. I coloured her with a mix of Copics and Promarkers as usual. Wish I had added some glitter to the heart now, but never mind.<br />
The papers are from the same pad, but I can't remember which one! I've had them for a long time and don't have the pad cover anymore so no idea who makes them.....sorry.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I kept this card quite simple and just added some flowers. All the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the paper ones underneath the little roses are made with a selection of Tonic Studio petal pairs punches.<br />
I got 4 of these punches the other day as a subscription gift from a magazine, but I was really dissapointed, because the gift was supposed to be some Promarkers (which I got a few weeks back) and some American Crafts border punches, but they must of ran out of the border punches and sent me these Tonic flower ones instead.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've seen these petal pairs punches everywhere lately and have never been tempted to buy them. They are a bit small for my liking and although you can mix and match them all to make different flowers, they just don't appeal to me. Maybe they will grow on me, but after using them yesterday, they got put back in their boxes and chucked in my craft box.....probably to stay there and collect dust!<br />
I should maybe sell them and buy some new ones that I will use more often :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I've really got back into cardmaking these past few days and have quite a few cards to show, so thought I would pop on and share one that I made just for fun :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also found a few challenges that I can enter with this card, so that was a bonus :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHY2GZNSRwc6X1dsmI8oy-6dS9EbOZ-dR67oGrdZloD6IpSDupO7WmTlYlKXc-V2xcSUOX9MM2X3KDy1fAuDbH75zje5hJb-06hgjAPjCtv-OBCZLYI4pKHdQsI8X3H8BTGn-BveHcE13c/s1600/013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" title=" "><img border="0" height="601" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHY2GZNSRwc6X1dsmI8oy-6dS9EbOZ-dR67oGrdZloD6IpSDupO7WmTlYlKXc-V2xcSUOX9MM2X3KDy1fAuDbH75zje5hJb-06hgjAPjCtv-OBCZLYI4pKHdQsI8X3H8BTGn-BveHcE13c/s640/013.JPG" title=" " width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I coloured up a digi image from Deviant Art by Sureya which I have had for ages and never got round to colouring. I love her images! Most of them have lovely long hair to colour which is my favourite thing to colour, so I really enjoyed colouring this one.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
She is coloured with mostly Copics and a few Promarkers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The spotty paper is by Template Dreams which I had printed out for my dt card at By The Cute and Girly where they are sponsoring this week, but although it is a purple colour on the screen, it printed out brown and was no use for my dt card, so I kept it and used it on this one.<br />The other paper is from an old paper pad, but I have no idea who makes it....sorry.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The roses are made with a cart us die. I cut some with the left overs of the spotty paper and the others with some coredinations and added stickles to them all.<br />I also added a few pink gems around the flowers and on 2 corners of the image.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8ggek2qNMj8EYRtVpghI8kPHDxEyufB_TZDcj0ymaapo1dS0uSr0ZL72dw-VHcDA9_ghsl09nnOYhPYhFMaNy7Di5o0CFe0XMaOY38Wi2V1S7yC3r85O1EQ9XrkVYU_RVgLC3F7IWztKH/s1600/014.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really need more practice doing hair, but it was fun to colour and took me ages! I need some more hair colours though as I only have a few and most are Promarkers. I like doing hair with Copics better as I can get a better "flicking" motion going on with Copics,<i> </i>but I had to make do with what I have :) </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sorry this pic is really blurry, but wanted to show the flowers a bit better. I love this flower die and it was under £3!! There is so much different flowers you can make with this die, but I do like these ones best.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have a few cards to share today, one which I should of blogged on Tuesday (oops!).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first one is my dt card for<a href="http://www.bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/"> By The Cute and Girly</a> where the challenge this month is "Roses are Red".</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor is <a href="http://scrapable.co/store/Template-Dreams/">Template Dreams</a> and I have used some of their digi papers on my card.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Template Dreams also have a Facebook page is any of you are interested. You can find it<a href="http://www.facebook.com/TemplateDreams"> here</a>. She sometimes posts freebies too :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiBnblzunSAgxb8RQ6fZskrbZlYLYkUYySzYmgdHabG2pXYCWfArDEbkjKsxFqBuGh4q9Ncj1ukM0BdLUYQjEvA92OHO4_x-VgMCtBAGLfgmxyGInRViinS-6LjEN6maBNLHjCwu70M876/s1600/011.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="365" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiBnblzunSAgxb8RQ6fZskrbZlYLYkUYySzYmgdHabG2pXYCWfArDEbkjKsxFqBuGh4q9Ncj1ukM0BdLUYQjEvA92OHO4_x-VgMCtBAGLfgmxyGInRViinS-6LjEN6maBNLHjCwu70M876/s400/011.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sorry about the blurry pic, I had to take it at night.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The flowery paper is by Graphic 45 (I think) and the other 2 are from Template Dreams Distressed Elegance kit. The redish one printed out much darker than it looks on screen. I used this one on a digi layout and it looks a totally different colour, but I think it's because I printed when one of my ink colours were running out, so it came out a browny red colour. It actually looks purple in the kit, but it worked for my card this way :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Oh and it also has an embossed look heart pattern on it but you can't see it here because my pic is rubbish!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The image is an old digi from Some Odd Girl and I coloured her with a mix of Promarkers and Copics.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used my Martha Stewart heart punch for the border and some ribbon from my stash and the flowers are made with a Cart Us die. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also done some stitching by hand which is why it looks wonky! lol</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My other card is for this weeks<a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/"> Digital Tuesday Challenge</a> where the challenge is "Winter Wonderland".</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/">My Grafico</a> is our sponsor and they are offering a prize of any set in their store. There is no price limitation on the set the winner chooses, so you could choose a $20 set! :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR1Rmkfy2kfMoy8aCOL3KP2ZK6EpCo08qEVxhvoqoEh1JAZZLLXNDBDCHaHQFOy13BBquvSMJBDfXL6v2VeWXGlDhx1443lnZjG-z0w4mgCjciWFDdj-c2VVgQMHKDOYsXQ4619frl6q1R/s1600/016.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="365" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR1Rmkfy2kfMoy8aCOL3KP2ZK6EpCo08qEVxhvoqoEh1JAZZLLXNDBDCHaHQFOy13BBquvSMJBDfXL6v2VeWXGlDhx1443lnZjG-z0w4mgCjciWFDdj-c2VVgQMHKDOYsXQ4619frl6q1R/s400/016.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sorry again about the rubbish blurry pic!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used a penguin from Paper Pixel Prints <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/penguin-digital-stamps/prod_7837.html">Penguin digi stamp set</a> at My Grafico, and coloured it with Copics and Promarkers (Promarkers for the black/grey as I don't have any grey copics yet). I also added some stickles on her tummy and on her earmuffs :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are a random mix from my scrap box. I'm trying to save money and use up all my scraps lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The snowflakes were cut with a Marianne die and the flower with the same die as I used for the flowers in my card above (I rolled the flowers on my other card and just kinda twisted this ones a bit to give it a different look). Oh and the border was done with a Cart Us die. These are super cheap and do the same job as any other die :) I was under £3 for the border one and only £3 something for the flower! Got to love a bargain!! :)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
I haven't blogged on here since the beginning of December!! It really doesn't seem that long because I have done posts over on my challenge blogs.<br />
Anyway speaking of challenge blogs, I have a layout to show which I made for this weeks challenge at Digital Tuesday where the challenge is to use your favourite colour combo.<br />
I ordered printer ink last week but I'm still waiting for it to come! and I had intended on printing out some digi papers from our sponsor Template Dreams, but as I had no ink, I had to do a digi layout.<br />
I was going to use My Memories software but for some reason it wouln't work, so I used a free graphics program that I have had for ages but had no idea how to use! So I kept it really simple and didn't do lots of layers (because I had no idea how to! lol).<br />
I couldn't decide on what was my fave colour combo, but I'm really liking rich colours just now and I spotted a scrapbook kit from Template Dreams that I liked, so that's what I used :)<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6pae5oCT7oh8Ib9OEUQ11bR9JOuM1CbKThaqTxwfN_uUOYXu3jS9kKRe8_Q6hazFWGpcx5ryX8KxjGedxmrd5SWx3Uwr2yvibc5vNv5Zv64XLv6BUgyXYzBh5fWqk7RuhoYMWiidXs-xE/s1600/rhianna2201.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6pae5oCT7oh8Ib9OEUQ11bR9JOuM1CbKThaqTxwfN_uUOYXu3jS9kKRe8_Q6hazFWGpcx5ryX8KxjGedxmrd5SWx3Uwr2yvibc5vNv5Zv64XLv6BUgyXYzBh5fWqk7RuhoYMWiidXs-xE/s400/rhianna2201.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The photo is my oldest Daughter (who is now 9) when she was about 5 :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Everything else is from the Distressed Elegance Bundle at T<a href="http://scrapable.co/store/Template-Dreams/">emplate Dreams</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love that you get so many different papers and other elements in this kit. Just a pity that I didn't do the lovely designs justice! lol. I will however be playing with this kit again once I get some ink as it could also be used for cardmaking :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Look how innocent Rhianna looks......it did only last until I took the photo though and then she was back to her cheeky self! lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well that's it from me today, but I will be back tomorrow or Thursday with some cards as I have so may to show now that I have a camera again :) I have been doing a lot of crafting but just haven't been able to show anything here as I didn't have a camera, so I have lots of pics to take over the next few days.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
It's freezing here today!! Pouring of rain again! At least the snow didn't last though :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's time for another challenge at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday </a>and the challenge this week chosen by me is Non-Traditional Christmas (don't use the traditional green/red combo or use an image that you wouldn't normally use for a Christmas card).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor this week is <a href="http://www.stampfairy.com/">Stamp Fairy</a> who are giving away a $10 gift certificate to the winner and the design team also got to play with a Stampfairy image.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So here's what I made</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipMjSzDt0fnZaI1-gavCNTlF8MD9XEuHs0r0suyCuNqyGDEHcO4QgOPPvwOiAyFz6TKhbMtSxTmOF6ft-KB9KPn5HdYIcOSKHnqnbhUPkoRT6IT-KzGpouo_sBITHx4ArxDsSXuwVE-U0z/s1600/008.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="392" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipMjSzDt0fnZaI1-gavCNTlF8MD9XEuHs0r0suyCuNqyGDEHcO4QgOPPvwOiAyFz6TKhbMtSxTmOF6ft-KB9KPn5HdYIcOSKHnqnbhUPkoRT6IT-KzGpouo_sBITHx4ArxDsSXuwVE-U0z/s400/008.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The cute image is called "Barry countdown to Christmas" and he was coloured with Promarkers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Papers are Websters Pages and the butterfly strip was done with my new (ish) Tonic Studio border punch. The ribbon which I have had for ages is really sparkly and has glitter, sequins and tiny seed beads of it (think you can just about see some of the beads at the bottom right corner of the image).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For embellies I used some silver snowflakes with dew drops and a clear plastic snowflake which I think was originally part of a Christmas decoration but they ended up in my craft box :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCP2k2mHnUUmOTWIuA6yhBNgXt09G6LVUm9VPdmTsiZ1gSGwgtztWRFfKgNva6Dp_IPkE4VQJ1kZB8LUZlNBh8K6MyrhlqhpHA_IR8Jz9Mxf5gUnk3izzHhHP2eZ0LhNjRGwmW02nOPseB/s1600/007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCP2k2mHnUUmOTWIuA6yhBNgXt09G6LVUm9VPdmTsiZ1gSGwgtztWRFfKgNva6Dp_IPkE4VQJ1kZB8LUZlNBh8K6MyrhlqhpHA_IR8Jz9Mxf5gUnk3izzHhHP2eZ0LhNjRGwmW02nOPseB/s320/007.JPG" width="242" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can see the clear snowflake better here. Oh and I also added a tiny paper snowflake and a clear dew drop. I love when I can recycle things and use them on my cards instead of it ending in the bin! an it makes a really cheap embellishment :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally a close up of the image, which I must admit I didn't do a very good job of colouring! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm hoping Santa brings me some new markers for Christmas because I'm running out of most colours in both Copics and Promarkers, so don't have at actually work just now, but don't think that's very likely, so better get saving after Christmas! :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The new challenge over at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> today is "Girly". That has to be the most easy challenge ever for me because I always make girly cards :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor this week is the fabulous <a href="http://www.tiddlyinks.com/">Tiddly Inks</a> and there is a $10 gift certificate up for grabs!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used this lovely image from Tiddly Inks which is called "<a href="http://www.tiddlyinks.com/products/Fairy-Fae-Catches-a-Star.html">Fairy Fae Catches a Star</a>" </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I coloured her with a mix of Copics ad Promarkers and added some stickles for Sparkle. I seriously need some new hair and skin colours! I know I have been saying this for weeks, but still don't have any! Can't wait till Christmas is over and done with some I can buy some new markers! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Some of the papers I have used are Raspberry Road but not sure about the pink one.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added some ribbon and lace from my stash, some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, some gorgeous butterflies from Little Snippets (link in my sidebar) which I added some pearls to and a few pearls dotted in with the flowers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love this image, it's so pretty :) and I now have lots of Tiddly Inks images on my wishlist! lol </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
It's been a while since I last blogged. I really must get into the habit of blogging at least every couple of days again. I kind of lost interest in blogging and crafting for a bit....do ay of you get like that? Now and again I just can't be bothered with it all and think I will just give up crafting and blogging, but then I look at the lovely comments I get on here and it makes me want to keep at it :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Over the last few days I have got right back into crafting and yesterday I made 4 cards for the next few challenges at Digital Tuesday, so hopefully I keep it up! :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Speaking of<a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/"> Digital Tuesday</a>, the new challenge was posted today and Anneke has chose a Christmas colour combo challenge. She wants to see our Christmas cards using blue, white and kraft.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor this week is Spesch Stamps, so of course I had to use a<a href="http://www.speschstamps.com/"> Spesch Stamps</a> image :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYOuvje3Oq8jdE7oUmJ5Ls9rVOz3qGL_6lgjBJyuQqYHeE3kePP2o6fiLwAV9SolQi55mDeOQbGzvG9uX8E9BS7hXSfqwiLPjcxVtayHdAc1zOQZQPc7pqdt3Hbbe6u5zC_eKRNR5_9ZIH/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="373" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYOuvje3Oq8jdE7oUmJ5Ls9rVOz3qGL_6lgjBJyuQqYHeE3kePP2o6fiLwAV9SolQi55mDeOQbGzvG9uX8E9BS7hXSfqwiLPjcxVtayHdAc1zOQZQPc7pqdt3Hbbe6u5zC_eKRNR5_9ZIH/s400/002.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I really like the image which by the way is called "Kei with Cocoa", but I am not happy with how my card turned out. I think I should of used another layer of paper, probably because I am so used to using at least 2 different dp's on a card, but I now know that I don't own much blue papers that are suitable for Christmas carsds as I had such a hard job finding paper to use!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I finally found this snowflake paper in a Forever Friends pad which I got last year.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used some cheesecloth, some ribbons from my stash, a wild orchid crafts rose on top of a flower that did have some stamen bits in the middle, but I ripped it apart and stuck the petals a little closer together so it wasn't as big as it previously was, then added some stardust stickles to both flowers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also added some little snowflakes and added gems in the centres, but looking at this picture I notice that one of them has fell off completely and another has moved from the middle of the snowflake.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
That's what I get for taking a picture before the glue has a chance to dry!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The image was coloured with mostly Promarkers.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I do like the Copic nibs better than Promarkers, but lately I have been using my Pros a lot more as I hate that some of the Copic colours (especially dark ones) go all waxy and the colour starts to go streaky and you just can't blend with it :( Does anyone else have that problem?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Someone said to me that it's probably because I have layered too much ink and it starts to sit on top of the paper after a while, but that is not what is causing it, because it happens even when I haven't used any other layers. It only happens with some colours and it seems to be the dark E colours, which is why I have started using Promarkers to do hair because I am so fed up of all my images having shiny hair!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well that's it from me today. I will be back probably tomorrow with a card for By The Cute ad Girly which I should of posted on the 15th, but I forgot!</div>
<br />
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's been a while since I posted for <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a>! My camera is playing up and I just haven't been able to get pics of my cards, but all is well now (well kind of lol), so I have a card to share for this weeks challenge which was chosen by the lovely Amy, and the challenge is "Thankfulness"- make a thank you card or a thanksgiving card.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So since we don't have Thanksgiving here, I went with a thank you card.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor this week is <a href="http://www carolinescreativestamps.blogspot.com">CaroLines Creative Stamps</a> who is giving away £10 to spend in her store.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Caroline gave the design team a few of her digi kits to use for the challenge, but unfortunately I couldn't use any of them as I didn't have coloured ink in my printer so couldn't print any of the papers etc, so instead I used a digi image that I already had printed out.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHUdJRkXSXvdnsKjCiQUQTAQDzOJjuYaOrY9kMilo9X7MkaG0pg7sLXBpthWu-OjG6EX9LZx92K7daNWulB1Fgb2l5yVhOO8-SQBroHOjsBA9nghoLyG1ujUxZ-YfUErT_1Mnq9SRjVLZ4/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="388" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHUdJRkXSXvdnsKjCiQUQTAQDzOJjuYaOrY9kMilo9X7MkaG0pg7sLXBpthWu-OjG6EX9LZx92K7daNWulB1Fgb2l5yVhOO8-SQBroHOjsBA9nghoLyG1ujUxZ-YfUErT_1Mnq9SRjVLZ4/s400/002.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The image is by Sureya from Deviantart. I love her images, they are so much fun to colour :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I colored her with a mix of Copics and Promarkers. Really need to get some new skin coloured markers as I don't have any ink in the colours that I normally use for skin, so had to go with a different combo (E02 copic and Almond Promarker) as it's all I had.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are First Edition, sentiment was a digi freebie that I got sooo long ago that I can't remember where from. Flowers from my stash (2 middle sized roses are Wild Orchid Crafts and no idea about the others). I didn't have a purple flower in the size I wanted, so I just coloured a white one with a Promarker. They have all been glittered of course :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used some purple tulle and some organza ribbon from my stash, but you can't really see the tulle in this pic. To finish I added a little charm bit to the middle of the bow.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTF3wIdDQyYdRo6xkh-a_ItNs7TdQgpVlIYdbNUwSzdVCO_RfieEuMKGY2mnzuXQ8EhbYtnueBj2FoqwjRwAsr3s8JSCm1rbohXaEQAZ3sB1ztJourfRPp251HJPd_06TCuKcH0iJ8co3O/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTF3wIdDQyYdRo6xkh-a_ItNs7TdQgpVlIYdbNUwSzdVCO_RfieEuMKGY2mnzuXQ8EhbYtnueBj2FoqwjRwAsr3s8JSCm1rbohXaEQAZ3sB1ztJourfRPp251HJPd_06TCuKcH0iJ8co3O/s320/001.JPG" width="270" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Don't look too close at the colouring! It's hard to stay in the lines when most of your fingers are numb! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love she does the hair on her images. This one doesn't have as much hair as some of her other images, but it was still lots of fun to colour. I really must get new brown markers for hair as well! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will have time to check out the challenge over at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> and see what the rest of my fabby team have made.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
giving away 3 digital images of the winners choice.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Crafts and Me also gave the design team some image to play with, so of course I had to use on on my card because I love their images :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was planning on going down the Christmas route with stars like some of the design team have done, so I coloured up a Christmas image, but when I went to make my card with it, I somehow got a black mark right across the image! I think it came off my paper cutter as the previous day I had been cutting paper that had been made with marbling inks- serves me right for not cleaning it afterwards I suppose!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So that image went in the bin and I just couldn't be bothered going through and printing another one, so I coloured another image that I had already printed to use on another card and forgot about the Christmas theme and just went for stars instead.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I only have one pic today because my camera died on me after taking just one photo!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgutk-VplEetdXWQetWtwHhBp-zyppQoohhxocBhNlnkZu_UPCzf2dvC08gRV3DSY7ZJTQZNIiP26_Qn-e60NhwuOZmr2oqRPZd9ohEpKGZiM3U6t5EAQKWgangl4hFSqcG-KKXUFgZbBAI/s1600/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgutk-VplEetdXWQetWtwHhBp-zyppQoohhxocBhNlnkZu_UPCzf2dvC08gRV3DSY7ZJTQZNIiP26_Qn-e60NhwuOZmr2oqRPZd9ohEpKGZiM3U6t5EAQKWgangl4hFSqcG-KKXUFgZbBAI/s400/004.JPG" title=" " width="387" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I promise my card is not all wonky like it looks here! As I was taking the photo, the card started to fall down and this is thats why the pic looks strange lol. I couldn't take another photo because my camera died, so had to make do with this one.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, just pretend that it's lovely and straight ;)</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
As I said the image is from Crafts and Me and is called "A Princess is born".</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love all the hair on this image :) I coloured with mainly Promarkers and used just a touch of Copics on the hair mixed with Promarkers. I also added a little bit of glitter, but you can't see it here.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used an embossing folder that has tiny stars in the pattern (can't remember which make it is, sorry) and inked the embossed bits with distress ink and also glittered the embossing so it would stand out more :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Not sure what make the patterned paper is either (I'm not doing very well here, am I? lol).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also used a heart doily, most of which I covered up, some lace, star ribbon, a pile of flowers, most of which are from Wild Orchid Crafts which of course I glittered, and I also added some little pink pearl hearts in with the flowers and to finish off my star theme, I used star shaped buttons which I threaded with some twine.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It feels strange not adding a close up pic of the image and only having one photo on my post, but hopefully I will be back to normal (whatever normal is?! lol) with my next card, which will probably be for Digital Tuesday in a few days as we are off out tomorrow to a firework display. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lucky for us it's in our little village so not far to walk home in the cold :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />Hope you enjoy your weekend! :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: red;">This post in pinned to the top of my blog. Please scroll down for more recent posts.</span><br />
<span style="color: red;">You can see my second By The Cute and Girly post for October using another Whiff Of Joy image <a href="http://lorascards.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/a-bit-of-shabby-chic-birthday.html">here </a></span> <br />
<br />
It's By The Cute and Girly's 3rd Birthday today and we are celebrating with a birthday challenge and blog hop :)</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
My blog is the first on he list, so you are in the right place if you have just came to visit and didn't know about the hop :)<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The design team have all been busy making something to celebrate our 3rd
birthday and we would love for you to visit us all to see what we made.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The blog hop rules are very simple, <b>all you have to do is visit each
of the design team members blogs and leave a comment on each one, then
finish up at our challenge blog and leave a comment there to let us know
you have finished the hop</b>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Your name will then be put in a draw to win one of the blog hop prizes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you also enter our challenge this month, you will also be put in the draw to win one of challenge prizes. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You have the whole month to enter and you can enter the challenge as
much times as you like, as long as each entry is a different craft eg: 1
card, 1 scrap page, 1 altered item, 1 knitted item etc.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And as always, you can enter with any craft you like, from paper craft
to baking and everything in between. If you made it yourself then you
can enter is, it's as easy as that :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The theme is <span style="font-size: medium;">"Birthdays"</span> so it's a nice easy challenge and we have lots of prizes up for grabs from some great sponsors! Please check out the <b><a href="http://www.bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/">challenge blog</a></b> to see all the prizes we have to give away!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Each design team member is featuring a different sponsor today, so you
will see images or other products from a different sponsor being used on
each of the dt blogs. We also have other sponsors on the challenge
blog, so there really is lots of prizes to be won :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The sponsor I am featuring is <a href="http://www.whiffofjoy.com/">Whiff Of Joy</a><span style="color: red;"> </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.whiffofjoy.com/"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgu_kPiukgkFOlOGJORPTnbi_cIATvIRt1ZMfqnfFKkKK-lPdAcRysi1OHmimiIUagt9YHs3YyX1mqq9IU23O9_tKdXm45Cl688qDBemvc7X1E-iDbiPvKp44LmkW-Rv9u74hh3l5LSWhj9/s1600/WoJAnim.gif" style="height: 180px; width: 180px;" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Katharina very kindly sent me a stamp to use for my card, and it is the same stamp which she is giving away as a prize :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The stamp I used is called "<a href="http://www.whiffofjoy.ch/product_info.php?info=p992_those-belong-to-me.html">Those Belong To Me"</a>. It is currently out of stock at the moment but you can enter the challenge this month for a chance to win it :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I coloured it with Copics and cut it out with a Nellie Snellen die.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are Prima, flowers are a mix of Wild Orchid Crafts and ones from Hobbycraft.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used some cheesecloth (love this stuff!), ribbon, lace, a pearl ribbon slider and a metal corner all of which are either from my stash or gifts from my lovely dt members (thank you ladies, you know who you are xx)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I just hope that Katharina thinks I have done her lovely stamp justice as my hand is still numb so my colouring is not so good just now :(</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
The challenge over at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> this week is "Warm and Fuzzy" and our sponsor is <a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/">Bugaboo Stamps</a>, who are giving away 7 digi images to our winner.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I chose a Christmas image from Bugaboo to use for my card (hence the post name :)) and was planning on using some Christmas sentiment transfer things that you add flock on top of (sorry don't know what they are called lol). I know I have a few packs of them by DCWV but I couldn't find them anywhere (what's the bets that I find them today after making my card?! lol), so I had to change my plan and had no idea what to do for the warm and fuzzy theme....after all, I chose a Christmas image! Really if I had ay sense I would of chose a bear of something, but no I had to make it difficult for myself! So I had a look through my stash and came up with this :)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFhLOYDjY4sH7imb_l_vL1aZg_nZct-t0KVRQFyuYSjC-arLWH8rekGXbak5CdeCkarygX5iH6ZXLvD1BUa-ThqUAKhfDVDASa_P1QLKsh6QLDS5wzRpbPRgNfQyu3g7vx_0G6OQiHCtZB/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFhLOYDjY4sH7imb_l_vL1aZg_nZct-t0KVRQFyuYSjC-arLWH8rekGXbak5CdeCkarygX5iH6ZXLvD1BUa-ThqUAKhfDVDASa_P1QLKsh6QLDS5wzRpbPRgNfQyu3g7vx_0G6OQiHCtZB/s400/001.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sorry about the horrible pics, it's really dull here today. I sooo need to get some daylight lamps to take pics!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So first I found a velvety flower....found loads of these but only 1 red one and none other colours that would go with my card- typical! lol, and I didn't really think it was enough to just use one flower since it's not really obvious that it's my "warm and fuzzy" element, so I went looking again and just when I was about to give up, I found this cute pom pom trim :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had to cut off a couple of the pom poms at the end so that I could stick the card front to my base without there being huge lumps on either side where I had stuck the trim at the back of the paper, so since I had these little pom poms left over, I used one for the hat on the image :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I had actually glittered that part of the image, but I think the little pom pom looks cute ;) lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers I used I think are Raspberry Road? I got the paper pad free with a magazine last week, but I've put it away now and forgot to check who made it first. I'm sure it's Raspberry Road though....it seems like their kind of style? </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Not sure if I like the papers, but I'm trying to use up what I have before buying anymore papers....you know how the craft budget thing is a few months before Christmas (or in my case all the time!! lol).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went a bit mad with the white paint around the edges of the paper lol, and then didn't like the look of it but didn't have time to make another card, so I added some stickles around the edges which made it look a bit better:)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRSy9FITW9FPHJ8KAQcHLXhJygHYejsaBiN11TZPLil20e_lyd63yz0H1OyX1lGhYWx65_HNC0FDUL8Tpx5zKDOTCV5M4qi-aHou_q6kLSjcVXVkBhK6tBWoxA39YgtISYnWGrN850KjmI/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="291" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRSy9FITW9FPHJ8KAQcHLXhJygHYejsaBiN11TZPLil20e_lyd63yz0H1OyX1lGhYWx65_HNC0FDUL8Tpx5zKDOTCV5M4qi-aHou_q6kLSjcVXVkBhK6tBWoxA39YgtISYnWGrN850KjmI/s320/002.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The image is called "<a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/Ava-Christmas--candy-cane_p_2014.html">Ava Christmas- Candy Cane</a>" and was coloured with Copics and I added glitter to her hat and the white bits of the candy cane. I just noticed that I got white paint on her shoes! Oh well she must of been walking in the snow before sitting on her candy cane ;) lol </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEighfg6wmgh4OVsgti1V3goIfnr9KPzmctc3Jyjwuw31JVlALxLFG9ph1ht7WcYBy3rHKoOXfsLktT8oo4AtryivXRAJDfPWWmXYq-8ozrqUgq-YuHio_sd4ZppWrfJnZQGZEhK-WCMwcWv/s1600/003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEighfg6wmgh4OVsgti1V3goIfnr9KPzmctc3Jyjwuw31JVlALxLFG9ph1ht7WcYBy3rHKoOXfsLktT8oo4AtryivXRAJDfPWWmXYq-8ozrqUgq-YuHio_sd4ZppWrfJnZQGZEhK-WCMwcWv/s320/003.JPG" width="252" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The larger snowflakes are cut with Marianne dies (both from the same set) and the little snowflakes were done with a Woodware punch, then I just added a little star in the middle which I found in my stash and of course glittered them. Oh and the little white flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts.</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The other girls have done a fab job as usual and you can check out all their cards over at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a>. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And I'm sorry to mention this again, but you should really go check out the challenge and blog hop at my other challenge blog <a href="http://www.bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/">By The Cute and Girly</a> :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know I keep mentioning it, but we really do have a lot of prizes up for grabs and to be honest, this month I kinda wish that I wasn't on the design team so I could have a chance at winning some of those prizes!! haha</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We have prizes from Simon Says Stamp, Whiff Of Joy, Lili Of The Valley, Joanna Sheen, Kenny K, Pink Gem and loads more! Oh and a big box of goodies from Janlynn.com, with some of the fab steampunk charms included that I used on the card that I posted yesterday :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All you have to do for a chance to win is join in with our Birthday themed challenge (you can make absolutely anything you want, from a card to a cake! as long as it fits the birthday theme) and/or do our blog hop:)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We have a bunch of prizes for the challenge and then another lot of prizes for the blog hop, so why not do both for a chance to win from both lots of prizes. Or even better, do the blog hop and enter the challenge multiple times for even more chances to win! ;)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
you can enter the challenge as may times as you like, but each entry must be using a different craft (1 card, 1 scrapbook page, 1 altered item, 1 baked item etc).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok, this post is getting way too long, so I'm off to snuggle up and watch some tv because it's freezing here!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for stopping by</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
It's the middle of the month (already! where did October go?!!), which means I have some stuff to show you that I made for the inspiration post over at <a href="http://www.bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/">By The Cute and Girly challenge.</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's our 3rd Birthday this month and we are celebrating with a special birthday challenge and blog hop! You can see my blog hop post at the top of my blog :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We are all using a different sponsors images/products this month as we have a lot of sponsors with lots of prizes of course (15 prizes in fact!) to help celebrate our birthday, and my sponsor is<span style="font-size: large;"><b> <a href="http://www.whiffofjoy.com/">Whiff Of Joy</a></b></span>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The lovely Katharina sent me a stamp to use for the challenge, which I used for my card at the start of the month, but this time I decided to buy one of her digi stamps to use on my card (I was going to buy a rubber stamp to use, but I forgot about it until the other day and by then I was too late to order it in time for the inspiration post).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Anyway, I thought it would be nice to make something a bit special since it's my challenge blogs birthday:) So I decorated/altered a plain wooden jewelry box and made a card using the WOJ image.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First here's the card I made. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMPGRTi0ZKaCTMq6kdXuo4dXcPnVmJqsneSIuMbul0cD4O6iK_chzdB8VO4bm0XQ9_F5GS58rmWQAX-5M2_AND1BCiDcTDGTRAY8z0D3bDJnf_C2ZjbqJuXCuo2nx6knH7CVP8LJnYyEtC/s1600/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="392" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgMPGRTi0ZKaCTMq6kdXuo4dXcPnVmJqsneSIuMbul0cD4O6iK_chzdB8VO4bm0XQ9_F5GS58rmWQAX-5M2_AND1BCiDcTDGTRAY8z0D3bDJnf_C2ZjbqJuXCuo2nx6knH7CVP8LJnYyEtC/s400/004.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went a bit shabby chic with this one as I wanted it to kind of match my box (it doesn't really match but it's the same kind of style lol).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The image is called "<a href="http://www.whiffofjoy.ch/product_info.php?info=p1039_tea-for-two---black-and-white-digital-stamp.html">Tea For Two</a>" and I coloured it with Promarkers, then glittered and inked the edges with stardust stickles and antique linen distress ink.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love these images and really have to get more!;) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are Prima ones and I also used some old sheet music, and matted the image and base layer with blue coredinations cardstock.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I did the white paint thing and added some paint to almost everything lol, to give it a softer feel.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The flowers I made using Mariane Designs flower dies (a large and small flower die from the same set). I made some little rose style flowers for the top and just layered up some of the flowers for the bottom flower and added a flower from Wild Orchid Crafts in the center. Of course I glittered them :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The flourish/swirls are made using a Marianne Die and an MFT die.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lace was bought in a little craft shop in Stonehaven, ticket sentiment was a digi freebie that I got ages ago buit can't remember where from, pearl string from my stash ad the cute little teapot charm is from <a href="http://www.janlynn.com/">Janlynn</a> from the "<a href="http://www.janlynn.com/detail.cfm?ID=10134">Tea Time</a>" charm pack. They have these fab steampunk sets of charms, and I love them! :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There is so much to choose from and you can use them for so much different projetcs. I used a flat charm, but a lot of them in the range are 3d, and they are gorgeous! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can check out their steampunk range <a href="http://www.janlynn.com/CategoryResults.cfm?Category=54&SubCategory=1020&Desc=Necklaces">here</a>.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh and we have some up for grabs along with loads of other goodies from <a href="http://www.janlynn.com/">Janlyn</a>n this month over at the challenge blog.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHlBVAJLNQvqSt_pwbO1x55sPVoNIObH25MVnc_-xXBUtA9md1UeFbM64eBYA1ypxf_B-XWjkjNdrqAvLo4zx6L8nCb0TbCpNlTfA8OuO8Bn78rQOJUMMtVdDF7jGoA60FtIyBp1ccYQ_V/s1600/005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHlBVAJLNQvqSt_pwbO1x55sPVoNIObH25MVnc_-xXBUtA9md1UeFbM64eBYA1ypxf_B-XWjkjNdrqAvLo4zx6L8nCb0TbCpNlTfA8OuO8Bn78rQOJUMMtVdDF7jGoA60FtIyBp1ccYQ_V/s320/005.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A close up of the cute image :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglp_xX-DfdCl8D2Iy3JnkixLwnZz0hVUO7A59moWUVeG2wYjL4L62EmatgwSVwuWcxiRogPehA3O5qhwQN-8ST8KUkOvwPUxJF37Ih5lRJtwaxaNQfHFGOs1l9HBH_h3_tu4-1rUHfrGQo/s1600/006.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglp_xX-DfdCl8D2Iy3JnkixLwnZz0hVUO7A59moWUVeG2wYjL4L62EmatgwSVwuWcxiRogPehA3O5qhwQN-8ST8KUkOvwPUxJF37Ih5lRJtwaxaNQfHFGOs1l9HBH_h3_tu4-1rUHfrGQo/s400/006.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Isn't that charm cute? :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ok, so that's the card and here's the box. Warning, there is quite a few pics!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwt60fFAxhdGenfoXmRxAGg5f3rUTO4Cq7RKJ1EKH_-s_x_-2SSkBwr9WU4YmMZtYydoq42DgmmwYwFb53f0ps-Kl0C6QyjqBVOAZizFvfeIccTYeC6LMgijg3eZ48nDaoLcp6em-XaSg/s1600/007.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="311" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwt60fFAxhdGenfoXmRxAGg5f3rUTO4Cq7RKJ1EKH_-s_x_-2SSkBwr9WU4YmMZtYydoq42DgmmwYwFb53f0ps-Kl0C6QyjqBVOAZizFvfeIccTYeC6LMgijg3eZ48nDaoLcp6em-XaSg/s400/007.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wanted to give this box an old shabby feel, so I painted it with sandstone acrylic paint, then a layer of crackle medium and finished off with a top coat of white acrylic paint so that the white cracked and little bits of the darker paint shows through.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can't really see the cracked effect very well in these pics, but it looks better in real life.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I didn't use an image for a change! (I can tell you, that really was a challenge for me!! lol), but I wanted something in the center, so I used a Prima chipboard shape instead.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The lace on top is the same as I used in my card, and the flowers were made the same way too, except I added some white paint to them and added some tiny white rose buds.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The little heart was a plain wooden one and I painted it the same way as the rest of the box, and did the same with the die cut flourishes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The pretty metal butterfly was gift from a friend, which I added some light blue pearls to, as was the metal corner.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Finally for the outside, I added some pretty beaded trim on the drawer, but the ribbon the beads are attached to is blue and it looked a bit out of place (because the blue was a bit too bright), so I added some pretty lace over the top. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And this is the inside :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilW6Oa3JMKCHwOoGC5d1P0z5hmlGRhaGPAbf3MfxfmX564Uhyphenhyphen7TBn22wAO7ymmVSXc71CXtHyn8w8TnkOTbR-p3Fs4ZaFyKnZe3GIAcf_pLCz217sAHw54e73JnW_f7FNebFE01CWQ-Ec/s1600/010.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilW6Oa3JMKCHwOoGC5d1P0z5hmlGRhaGPAbf3MfxfmX564Uhyphenhyphen7TBn22wAO7ymmVSXc71CXtHyn8w8TnkOTbR-p3Fs4ZaFyKnZe3GIAcf_pLCz217sAHw54e73JnW_f7FNebFE01CWQ-Ec/s400/010.JPG" width="288" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I kept the inside quite plain because if I added loads of embellies, it wouldn't close properly lol.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I just added some Prima paper and a wooden heart.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfZdPavxwzNGD7UrhIH3V8jU1VdEnYLOm86guaw7NFCKNq5f_D_iFG8k5jsM5jsLfqMrZCG1_99lb6GlQSDrt5LWboRRCv1rVw08cwv3sV8oGV30pa79bdDbo3_XQkYieOxM-iy93Wya8F/s1600/011.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfZdPavxwzNGD7UrhIH3V8jU1VdEnYLOm86guaw7NFCKNq5f_D_iFG8k5jsM5jsLfqMrZCG1_99lb6GlQSDrt5LWboRRCv1rVw08cwv3sV8oGV30pa79bdDbo3_XQkYieOxM-iy93Wya8F/s400/011.JPG" width="337" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
This isn't a very good pic, but you can see that I lined the inside of the drawer with some more Prima paper.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And finally (I promise!! lol), some close up pics so you can see the detail a bit better.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I didn't want to add loads of pics, but there is so much little bits of detail on this project. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6a8KsvjLFAbzQXK_BnA1gzvnnZ9-9SCn5GhOLcWMxOiwcVGG6w9RZ_dwePaeyWiSLsmosW9dBEg1kBoxP8nQBsR1S_UT1JQrX4eAVEeZd2dWuUupje1jQHa-VLm-dhAZv-MwwZ4x0VPe1/s1600/012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="264" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6a8KsvjLFAbzQXK_BnA1gzvnnZ9-9SCn5GhOLcWMxOiwcVGG6w9RZ_dwePaeyWiSLsmosW9dBEg1kBoxP8nQBsR1S_UT1JQrX4eAVEeZd2dWuUupje1jQHa-VLm-dhAZv-MwwZ4x0VPe1/s320/012.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeFO8SyQ1FZzZvN1kAqfyHUQxUOIraWo4lSVN-0FQyKESwzAUFn2eGGBUHfBTAVzksqOGUFwEJ8NPQPoxVRc6awyFs9Z154sPlocn_3Qk07G0LvzM-pq8N0P25NmHIIm-_-UlUAh3JLbzh/s1600/013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="251" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeFO8SyQ1FZzZvN1kAqfyHUQxUOIraWo4lSVN-0FQyKESwzAUFn2eGGBUHfBTAVzksqOGUFwEJ8NPQPoxVRc6awyFs9Z154sPlocn_3Qk07G0LvzM-pq8N0P25NmHIIm-_-UlUAh3JLbzh/s320/013.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You can see the glitter and paint on the flowers a bit better in this pic. I used the same Prima papers to make the flowers ad some old sheet music.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So that's it for me for today (thank goodness! I hear you say lol)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thanks so much for stopping by and any comments that you may leave.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love reading my comments and appreciate you taking the time to leave me one :)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The theme at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> this week was chosen by Maya (who always likes to give us a challenge!) and she chose Steampunk.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I must admit, I could of died when she told me the theme because I have never made a steampunk card and didn't have anything steampunky....or so I thought.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I do love the style though and after all the worrying, I had so much fun making this card :)</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> Our sponsor this week is <a href="http://www.speschstamps.com/">Spesch Stamps</a> who is giving away 3 digital images of the winners choice, and as always Tracey let the design team choose an image to play with, so of course I had to use one because I love her images!</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNLAu_R9xNU3IgkwyygYktFL1D-I1R4MecVucl3V8JHDMZbEhuuZ_xorbVxs5KTCtn6drYhsO4LU_lcDVl6vMRCZGidGHo7vKIwLvXN6PibugM21jWjlS3oTfifW6SW-CbtSIiv2FSuBwG/s1600/003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="390" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNLAu_R9xNU3IgkwyygYktFL1D-I1R4MecVucl3V8JHDMZbEhuuZ_xorbVxs5KTCtn6drYhsO4LU_lcDVl6vMRCZGidGHo7vKIwLvXN6PibugM21jWjlS3oTfifW6SW-CbtSIiv2FSuBwG/s400/003.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Sorry about the pants pic! My camera battery went dead on me after only taking three pics and this was the best of a bad bunch! lol I was just lucky to get a pic of the full card and a close up of the image as I normally take loads of the whole card first then choose the best one.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Anyway as I said, I used a <a href="http://www.speschstamps.com/">Spesch Stamps</a> image and it's called "Steampunk". Very apt for the challenge :)</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I coloured her with promarkers and cut her out using a craft knife for the tiny bits.....not really a good idea with a numb hand but I managed lol.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I used some sheet music (which I inked around the edges with copper ink) for the mat as I didn't have the colour of card I wanted to use- must remember to get some!</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The patterned paper is by Bo Bunny and I decided to be daring and heat emboss the edges lol. Not sure if I like it, but it was fun to do ;)</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The clock is a free svg file that I found a while back and the "cogs" I found on the accent essentials cricut cartridge. I thought they looked a bit steampunky?</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I heat embossed them all with bronze embossing powder.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Finally to finish off, I cut some flowers from the same papers using a Marianne Designs die (which actually embosses circles on them as well), scrunched them into a ball, inked them with antique photo distress ink and layered them together with a button and some string which was also coloured with distress ink because I only have white. Then added some die cut flourishes. The leafy one is a MFT die and the other is a Marianne Designs.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh97xJUVCZoRkmNuBYKAv_FKOjmpZcpxlcUx1yBcBFXLJPA_tIu0yxeWJF3MbdXalAMyGuIsqX-y4G7k04PDKoh2YkEV4Tn78Uq2xyn_94vUY-vodLzGuhQtOdvekhXJsa27-skS3nIPgPJ/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="278" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh97xJUVCZoRkmNuBYKAv_FKOjmpZcpxlcUx1yBcBFXLJPA_tIu0yxeWJF3MbdXalAMyGuIsqX-y4G7k04PDKoh2YkEV4Tn78Uq2xyn_94vUY-vodLzGuhQtOdvekhXJsa27-skS3nIPgPJ/s400/002.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I had actually coloured my image with blues and browns, but my son Liam said that it didn't go very well and it would look better in green, so I printed out another image and coloured it up and he was absolutely right :)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
This week at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> the challenge is "Text Me"- add some text on your creation.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Our sponsor this week is <a href="http://craftysentimentsdesigns.co.uk/">Crafty Sentiments </a>who are giving away 3 digital images of the winners choice.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The design team also got a choice of images to play with, and I was going to use a cute Halloween one like some of the other dt did, but I don't give Halloween cards, so although I love making them, there's really no point because it would just end up in the bin! So I used a cute little snowman instead and made my first Christmas card of the year!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I printed the image onto iridescent cryogen white card and coloured with Copics, and also added some star dust stickles to the tree and on his hat.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I first used Cryogen a few months back and loved the shimmer it gave to images, so I ordered some last week, but the lady sent me the iridescent one instead of the one I ordered and I really don't like it!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It does have a nice shimmer, but it's not so good to colour on. You have to work real quick because the ink dries fast and then it's so hard to blend.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I won't even be buying that card again! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The bottom paper I used is by Raspberry Road and the other two are Websters Pages.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You ca't really see here, but the green paper has text all over it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The bigger snowflakes are cut with Marianne Dies and the small ones were done with a punch (I think it's by Dovecraft but I will have to double check).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also added some stickles to the snowflakes and added some dewdrops from Inky Impressions and some die cut christmas trees which I found in my stash, which I also added some stickles too.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
And a close up of the cute but horribly coloured image. Oh, I also added stickles on the snow :) <br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So that's my card for Digital Tuesday and I hope you will join in with this weeks challenge.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The challenge this week at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> this week is "Say It With Flowers" and our sponsor is <a href="http://fred-she-said-store.blogspot.co.uk/">Fred She Said </a>who is giving away a $20 gift certificate to one lucky winner.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Of course Tracey at FSS is the master of floral images, so she was the perfect sponsor for this week and the design team have used some of her images.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I don't often make floral cards, so this is a bit different for me!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The beautiful rose from Fred She Said is coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers and also added some diamond stickles for a bit of sparkle.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The die cut which the images is on is a Nellie Snellen die.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The papers are Prima, large flowers are from Hobbycraft and the smaller pink ones and the tiny white ones are by Wild Orchid Crafts and I also added stickles to them :)</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The pretty embroidered leaf is from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/LittleSnippets">Little Snippets</a>, and some ribbon from my stash.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I don't know when I will be back with a post because my router broke last night and I have to wait for a new one to come which they said would be 2 to 3 days, so today I am writing this post at my MIL's house (it's Monday while I'm writing it) and hopefully it will post on time!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will be back for the new challenge at By The Cute and Girly on October 1st at the latest though.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And just a heads up that we have something special planned for October as it's our 3rd birthday!! :) Lots of fun and prizes, so you won't want to miss it!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The theme over at <a href="http://www.bythecuteandgirly.blogspot.com/">By The Cute and Girly</a> this month is Boys/Men, and can you believe that is was me who chose the theme!!? lol. I hardly ever make male cards and always go for girly stuff, but I did enjoy making this one :)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8lzUBw1dtpgd2FJNzpMvrWJ8_uOManVCRoof7n0VeeC3Az93fhFhJeGFiPmoI_EPbbHHo8OAs7VN11JgXv5374lZQK_58O6XekMMqCRwb_1c90d24v8WVR4_nDX_h8pkyfc-6Hw-YXu6J/s1600/014.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="377" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8lzUBw1dtpgd2FJNzpMvrWJ8_uOManVCRoof7n0VeeC3Az93fhFhJeGFiPmoI_EPbbHHo8OAs7VN11JgXv5374lZQK_58O6XekMMqCRwb_1c90d24v8WVR4_nDX_h8pkyfc-6Hw-YXu6J/s400/014.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Sorry about the blurry pic. I took this when both my hands were really numb and I couldn't hold the camera still very well! lol<br />
I can't remember who makes the papers but I will check later and it it to the post. They are double sided 12x12's. The black/white paper is the back of the leaf paper and the other 2 are the back and front of another sheet.<br />
I coloured Edwin with Copics and Promarkers (the trousers are a mix of the two and everything else is done with Copics), then cut him out and mounted him on die cuts made with a Nellie Snellen die.<br />
He was stamped on Cryogen white paper. This was the first time I had even coloured on this paper and I have to say that I love it! It's nice to colour on and I love the sparkle too :)<br />
It's just a pity that it's so difficult to get here or else I would use it a lot more.<br />
I finished the card off with some buttons threaded with bakers twine and some ribbon from my stash.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDFm-_sYllgavSuD9iRYeztngfZYkawAKGNoS9BSabh0OnJmNSoTNhn02EeHBbK-L4GBli2nw_0VIE-lOby_pbBZgMFz_9vkACMocKcXa67B5lIwLekEZFdmJVwGbkJbLClcWPx9TrAdoP/s1600/015.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDFm-_sYllgavSuD9iRYeztngfZYkawAKGNoS9BSabh0OnJmNSoTNhn02EeHBbK-L4GBli2nw_0VIE-lOby_pbBZgMFz_9vkACMocKcXa67B5lIwLekEZFdmJVwGbkJbLClcWPx9TrAdoP/s320/015.JPG" width="311" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And a close up of Edwin. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have to say that I'm quite happy with my colouring on this one:) Not my best colouring, but my hand was really numb when I did this, so I was quite happy that I didn't really muck it up! Although you can't see all the times I went over the lines on the outside of the image because I cut it out!! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So now for the handbag part of my post.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Of course it's not a boy with a handbag like my title may suggest.....that would just be weird! lol</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It's a handbag card that I made for the shaped card challenge at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> a few weeks back, but never got to post it here because I had no internet access.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was just lucky that I had uploaded it to the Digital Tuesday dt blog before my internet was cut off, so it did make the post over there.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKWlahNxSmkmI0Tl2sNXimNoSA8bWWyISIxbZC8YbIiYfbB1Y6qD3IN-fci3aUQR7mK_woYiPBaE4OfAfamwJeCya6EMHUpkzMh0LEo5AqeBoOMbDWjxcJbuqmIsHgaa57wBmvl7LyWgJs/s1600/023.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="312" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKWlahNxSmkmI0Tl2sNXimNoSA8bWWyISIxbZC8YbIiYfbB1Y6qD3IN-fci3aUQR7mK_woYiPBaE4OfAfamwJeCya6EMHUpkzMh0LEo5AqeBoOMbDWjxcJbuqmIsHgaa57wBmvl7LyWgJs/s400/023.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I didn't actually make the bag, I got it in a pack of shaped cards which also had stars and flowers and I just decorated it.<br />
The paper I used is by Teddy Bo and was a freebie in a magazine. The image is from the <a href="http://www.stampfairy.com/">Stamp Fairy</a> who was our sponsor at Digital Tuesday the week of this challenge. This one is one of the <a href="http://www.stampfairy.com/digistamps_birthdayoccasions_mollythroughouttheyear.htm">Molly Throughout The Year images </a>.<br />
The image is mounted onto die cuts by Nellie Snellen and the other die cut (which I threaded the ribbon through) is from the same set.<br />
I added some ribbons from my stash and a couple of charms which I attached with some funky fibre so that it would hang down (kinda like charms you get on bags).<br />
I gave this to my Daughter for her birthday which was on the 10th from her big Brother and I added the sentiment "Sister's make life more fun" onto the blank ribbon slider panel, but forgot to take a pic afterwards.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjypG7zNzR872p2DBF1G3b-DuMUVi5OcAkxAlrt89ggneT27nU2B4G-zMKDAiI_G7uIhekEeYIcuNATnV54ovfV7k7802vM8pYWQmjR9GVX4zEDSIFmGkqtCnVPsIAay0dFhv-FqvM0VBu7/s1600/025.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="230" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjypG7zNzR872p2DBF1G3b-DuMUVi5OcAkxAlrt89ggneT27nU2B4G-zMKDAiI_G7uIhekEeYIcuNATnV54ovfV7k7802vM8pYWQmjR9GVX4zEDSIFmGkqtCnVPsIAay0dFhv-FqvM0VBu7/s320/025.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also decorated the inside with some papers (from the same set), but wanted to keep it nice and simple so didn't add anything else to it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A close up of the charms which were a gift from my friend Geraldine :) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And finally a pic of the back, which I just left plain, to show you how it closes.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The challenge this week at <a href="http://www.digitaltuesdaychallenge.blogspot.com/">Digital Tuesday</a> is "Things With Wings" which I unfortunately couldn't get a card made for.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The challenge runs until tomorrow night (Monday) so if you haven't already entered, why not pop over and give it a go?</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm sure you all have an image with wings and we have a digital stamp set of the winners choice from <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/">My Grafico</a> up for grabs and also 20% discount off an order in the My Grafico store for one lucky winner!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Thanks so much for stopping by today and thank you for you lovely comments left while I was offline for a few weeks :) </div>
