Digital Tuesday- Animal Friends

It's time for another Digital Tuesday challenge and the challenge this week is  Animal Friends and our sposnor is 2 Cute Rubber Stamps who let the design team use some of their digi images.

I used this cute cat from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps and as always I coloured with Promarkers. The greys don't look blended in these pics but they don't look like this in real life, in fact it looks like a 5 year old has coloured the image here lol....not that I am much better than a 5 year old anyway pmsl.

The papers I have used are Fancy Pants and I cut the bunting from one of the papers and matted them with some grey coredinations card.
The ticket sentiment is a digi which I got free ages ago and can't remember where from (sorry), and the ribbon is from John Lewis which I got at a bargain price by the way, a set of 3 different ribbons (which are about a metre or so each) for £1.25! and the quality is great too. Just a pity they only had a few left or else I would of bought loads!

That's the card done for today, hope you will join in with this weeks challenge. The prize is either 2 rubber stamps or 3 digis (I know what I would rather have lol), so why not pop over and enter for a chance to win.

Thanks for stopping by today

Charisma and Inky Impressions DT cards

The new challenge is up over at Charisma Cardz and the challenge this week is "Boy Oh Boy".
If you have been a follower of my blog for a while, you will know that I don't like making male cards and I very rarely make them, but I kinda enjoyed making this one :) I like distressing so it's maybe the fact that I got to distress all the edges lol, but I'm not keen on the way it turned out.....it's just too plain for my liking lol.

I coloured Edwin with my Promarkers as usual, papers are K&Co Hopscotch and I matted with navy blue coredinations...I just love how it distresses :)
I can't remember where I got the raffia ribbon stuff as I have had it for ages, and the only embellishment I used is a Making Memories badge brad which I just poked through a circle of coredinations.

Edwin's close up :)

There is also a new challenge over at the Inky Impressions challenge blog and the challenge this fortnight is "Shine On". the lovely Vicki wants to see shiny bits on your cards this time, whether it's glossy accents, sparkly embellishments, glitter etc, as long as it looks shiny it will do :)

I think I maybe went a bit overboard with the shiny gems!!

I used the sweet Lili's present stamp this time which you can find in the Inky Impressions store, and of course she is coloured with Promarkers.
The papers are from the same pad but I can't for the life of me remember which pad it is! I used a square doily from Poppy's Cabin (click on the banner in my sidebar to get there) and just left the border showing, then I stuck on loads of red shiny gems. It's just as well they come in strips or else I would of been there forever sticking them on lol.
The flowers are ones from Janlynn.com and I have dipped them in dazzling diamonds glitter.

And finally Lili's close up. Sorry about the quality of the pics, I really must get my DT cards made well in advance so I don't need to take pics the night before when there's no light!!

You have 2 weeks to get your entries in and there's a chance to win a goodie bag, so why not hop over amd enter the challenge and see the rest of the design teams cards :)

Digital Tuesday- Add Texture

I'm late posting this because I had problems with getting a photo of my card yesterday, but bettr late than never.
The challenge over at Digital Tuesday this week is to add texture and our sponsor this week is The Stamping Boutique who very generously gave the dt some of her images to play with for the challenge.
I'm still using up the 5x5 cards I bought and still haven't got used to using them.....there just not enough room on them for all the pretty embellies lol.

Sorry about the pants pic, I took it at night when there was no light....I really need to get myself a light tent and some lamps!

I was going to do some embossing but I decided I would just add some texture in the way of a doily, ribbon and crotchet flowers instead because I haven't used my embossing folders for so long that I have no idea where they are lol.

As I said the image is a digi from The Stamping Boutique and I coloured her with Promarkers. The paper is K&Co, doiliy (coloured with a dusty pink Promarker) is from Poppy's Cabin (link in my sidebar), die cut mat is done with a marianne die, crotchet flowers were a gift from Geraldine, my teamie at By The Cute and Girly (thank you!) which you can find in her Little Snippets Etsy Store and the little roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and have been sprayed with glimmer mist.

I forgot to write down the list of Promarker colours for the image but I think I used baby pink and cocktail pink and ivory and satin for the clothes And the usual oatmeal, blush, ivory for the skin and i think I used dusty pink for her cheeks this time.....not sure why I didn't use my normal baby pink but there ya go lol.
Oh and the hair I think is just all raw sienna as there's not much to colour to add shading.

Right I'd better run and get my girls to school or else we will be late....again!!

Birthday's In Pink for Charisma

The new challenge is  up at Charisma Cardz and the challenge this week is "Birthdays In Pink". Well that wasn't very hard for me lol.
Robyn's Fetish is sponsoring us this week, and the design team have each used one of her digi images on their cards.

I'm really not happy with this card, a bit too much pink me thinks and not my usual kind of flowers on it,  but here it is anyway. Doesn't help that my camera didn't want to play nicely when I took this pic which makes it look even worse than it is irl!!
The image is coloured with Promarkers, not sure what pad the bottom paper came from, but the sentiment and flowers are from the same paper pad and the other paper is K&Co.
The doily which was white is from Poppy's Cabin and I just coloured it with a pink Promarker, oh and the flourish is done with a Marianne die.

A close up of the eleflump :)

Right that's it from me today. Thanks for stopping by!

Tilda for a few challenges

I got time to make a card tonight that fits some challenges.
I already had a Tilda image coloured, and found a sketch at Magnolia licious, and this is what I came up with.

Sorry about the pic, it's dark here now so couldn't get a decent one and I wanted to get it posted tonight or else I would forget by morning!!
I coloured Tilda with the usual Promarkers then covered most of her with Dazzling Diamonds glitter by Stampin Up, and added some Glossy Assents to the bubbles and also on her bikini top :)
The papers are My Minds Eye, roses are from Janlynn.com, and the other flower is from a pack I bought in WHSmith but I don't know who makes them...they come with the brads in the centre already though, some are pearls and some gem brads, all very pretty :)
The flourishes are done with a Marianne die, doiliy from Poppy's Cabin and I also bought the border strip from there as I don't have that Martha Stewart punch...yet! Some ribbons, a little heart button and a butterfly from my stash.

I also managed to find a few other challenges that my card fits :)
Just Magnolia- buttons, bows and bling....I think I maybe went overboard with the bling part!! lol
Magnolia Stamp Lovers- Flowers

A silly upside down angled photo so you can see the dimension of the pretty butterfly :)

I'd better go link up to these challenges now!

Digital Tuesday dt and an Inky sneak peek

Hope you have all had a fab long weekend! My kids are still off school today as it's an inservice day, then they go back tomorrow and my 2 girls are off on Thursday again because their school is a polling station!...Is there any point putting them to school this week!!? lol
I must admit I have enjoyed not having to get up for school though and I am dreeading tomorrow morning because I know they won't want to get up for school either!

It's time for another challenge over at Digital Tuesday and this week Sandy is the hostess and want to see Ribbon AND Lace on our cards.
Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights who also gave the design team some images to work with for the challenge.

I have used Penny and her teddy from Digital Delights and coloured her with the usual Promarkers (list underneath image pic) and a white Sakura gelly Roll pen for the highlights.

Promarker colours-: Skin- oatmeal, blush baby pink for cheeks. Hair- tan, raw sienna, burnt sienna, cocoa.
Clothes- pinks-- baby pink, cocktail pink, rose pink, -- greens- meadown green, leaf green.
Shoes- tan, cinnamon, cocoa. Teddy Bear- tan, cinnamon

The stripey paper is Bo Bunny, but I am not sure about the green strip, it was in my scrap box with no name on it.
The lace and ribbon part was easy for me, I just threaded some satin ribbon through some lace, both from my stash, and job done :)

The flower is one I got from my DT teamie geraldine at By The Cute and Girly, you can find these crotchet flowers in her Little Snippets Etsy Store here. and the leaves are cut with a Marianne designs die that I got the other day.

Now I also have a sneeky peek to show you of my card that I made for the Inky Impressions Inspiration blog which is on the blog today.
I just realsed that I have used the Lili's Prayer image again on this card ........I have used other images on my Inky cards, but I have been getting up to date with all my DT work and made a lot of cards in advance, and it has just worked out that when I have posted dt projects, I have used the same image 3 times in a row....oops.
I only have 3 Inky Impressions stamps just now, so I really must get some ordered so I don't do that again.....ok that's just my excuse so I can buy some of these sweet stamps :)

It is a really cute image though, so you can't really blame me for over inking her :) I haven't added the Promarker colours over on the inspirations blog, so I will write them here.

Skin- oatmeal, blush, baby pink, Eyes-powder blue Hair- ivory, vanilla, canary, tulip yellow. All Pink  bits on clothes and Shoes-baby pink, cocktail pink, rose pink....t-shirt-canary, tulip yellow.....trousers-pastle blue, powder blue, denim.

Some Prima's and roses from Janlynn.com and a sparkly We R Memory Keepers flourish.
Ok that's all you are getting to see, you will have to hop over to the Inspirations blog to see the full card :)

Thanks for stopping by.

Inky Impressions meets By The Cute and Girly and a card for a Princess

It's the first of the month and that means a new challenge at By The Cute and Girly!
The challenge is easy peasy this week because it's "Anything Goes", so of course I had to do some girly stuff :)

First of all is a card I made for my Daughter Chiara's birthday which was at the start of April.
As thsi is a real girly card, I am entering it into the Crafters Companion challenge where they want to see Girly Cards and a am also entering it into A Spoon Full Of Sugar where the challenge is "A right royal knees up" thought it fitted the theme well since I used a Princess :)

The image is a kids colouring page that I got online for my girls a while ago and of course I coloured her with Promarkers and added some diamond stickles for some sparkle.
Can't remember where the paper came from because I made this a month ago lol. The flowers are Primas except the rose which is from Hobbycraft, ribbon is some from my stash, sentiment I done on the computer and the doilie was  alarge rectangle one which I just cut a border from.

My other DT make is a paper mache box that I covered and decorated. I have never altered a box like this before, only ever done the tiny little ones, so this was a first for me, but I had fun doing it :)
I have a few pics of this, so sorry if I bore you lol. I am entering this box into the Crafts 4 Eternity challenge where anything goes.

The paper is by Papermania and as I had a whole pack of the same paper, it came in handy because I used 4 or 5 A4 sheets for this box!

I have used LiLi's Prayer again by Inky Impressions and coloured her with Promarkers as usual.
This is such a pretty image and can be used for so many different occasions.
The flourish is from a We R Memory Keepers adhesive rub on pack and is covered with brown flock which comes with the set.....very pretty and you just want to reach out and touch it because it looks so soft :)

The flowers are mostly from Janlynn.com but unfortunately they are disscontinued :( but you can find loads of other goodies in the Janlynn store.
The big roses and the lacey ribbon stuff are from Hobbycraft and the little brown rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts, and that gorgeous butterfly is from geraldine's Etsy Store- Little Snippets, where you can find all sorts of embroidered and crotchet embellishments including butterflies in different sizes, designs and colours. They just add a special touch to any project and I love this design in particular because you can stick down the body and keep the wings up.

A pile of half pearls from my stash....think they were bought on Ebay, and the scalloped oval shaped die cuts are from Die Cut Dreams.
Finally a view of the bottom (promise this is the last photo! lol). I used some ribbon from my stash all around the lid and added a little organza bow with a heart attached to hide wher ethe ribbon joins. Think I got the bow thing from Ebay about 2 years ago, but can't be sure as I've had them for ages.

Sorry if that was way too  much pictures and I have sent you off to sleep! if you ahve made it to the end of this post, you deserve a medal! :) lol

I hope you will join in with this months challennge at By The Cute and Girly, and just a reminder that the challeneg over at the Inky Impressions challenge blog this fortnight is Flourish and Faux.
