Finally some cards!!

I finally have a card to share! Well actually I have two!!
I have a lot going on at home just now and my heart is just not in crafting or blogging just now, which is why I haven't posted on here for ages, but I didn't want to let my design team girls down again, so I forced myself to make a few cards :)

The first is for By The Cute and Girly for our April challenge which is Vintage.
Our sponsor this month is Tea House Bridge who is giving away this lovely selection of goodies to the winner.

The lovely owner also sent me some goodies for the design team to play with, so I have used some of them on my card :)

I used a freebie image that I have had for a long long time and coloured with Copics. The papers are Prima and some old sheet music. I distressed all the edges and inked them with vintage photo distress ink.
The pom pom trim and cute flower buttons are from Tea House Bridge.
Paper flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, crochet flower from Little Snippets (link in my sidebar) and the cute little charm I found in my stash and thought it went well with the image.
Oh the gorgeous lace which you can't see very well in the pic was a gift from one of my teamies at BTC&G and friend Ger, and the sentiment is a Pink Gem stamp.

A close up so you can see the charm better :)
You can also see the pom pom trim and one of the buttons from our sponsor better in this pic.

My second card is for Digital Tuesday where the challenge theme is Springtime.
I've had huge problems with the post over there today and for some reason although the post was showing when I went to edit, it wouldn't show on the actual blog! I now have it fixed though and the post is up :)

Our sponsor this week over there is The Paper Nest Dolls
who are giving away a $25 gift certificate to the winner!

I used one of  their images on my card and kept it quite simple as I really wasn't in the mood for crafting last night........I still love to colour, but just can't be bothered making the card....weird!!
Hopefully I will get the crafting bug back soon!

Sorry about the rubbish pics, I had to take them quickly this morning before there was much light.

The image I have used is called Playing In The Rain. I was going to use a different image at first which was a Springtime image, but I thought this one captured what Spring has been like here this year! lol
I coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers- mostly Copics.
The papers are MME, ribbon from my stash, border was cut using a Cart-us die and the butterfly was done with a die that came free in a magazine!
I cut the butterfly out twice, one on orange shimmery card stock and the other on patterned paper, just to give it a bit of dimension and then I added a pearl bead body which had fallen off a store bought butterfly embellishment, so I thought I would make use of it.

I'm not sure about the colouring of the hair on this girl. I'm rubbish at hair like this- at the ends where it just trails off , but I think it looks ok?

Finally a close up of the butterfly so you can see the dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I really don't deserve to have any visitors as I have been rubbish at blogging these last few months, but I do appreciate it and every comment you leave makes me smile :)

A bit of Magnolia and La-La Land :)

I have a couple of dt cards to share today. Starting with my card for the challenge at By The Cute and Girly where the challenge this month is "Favourite Things".
I was going to use an image from Bugaboo Stamps who is one of our sponsors this month (the other sponsor is Lili of the Valley), but I ran out of paper to print on, so I had to use something I've been using up images that I had previously stamped/printed.
Bugaboo Stamps are offering one winner digital images (winners choice) and Lili Of The Valley are offering a £10 gift certificate.

I didn't have much of a choice of pre stamped or printed images, so I chose this Tilda and coloured her up with Copics. Not sure what occasion this card would be for though lol.
I couldn't decide on one or two favourite things to use, so I used loads! haha
So my favourites are, lace, flowers, pearls, and of course my favourite things is Copics :)

The checked paper is from a little craft shop that prints their own papers, the music paper is from an old sheet music book and the crown one I think is Raspberry Road.
I can't remember where I got the gorgeous lace from, but I love it:) Flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I attacked them all with stickles lol, pearl heart thing is from Hobbycraft, pink trim I got in a pack from Poundland! and the pretty crochet flower is from Little Snippets Etsy store.

A close up of the lovely crochet flowers from Geraldine at Little Snippets, just because I love em :)
I added a button and threaded through a scrap of lace.

My other card is for Digital Tuesday where the challenge this week is "Frame It", and I really didn't want to post it because I hate my colouring on this card (which is why I am posting it today instead of Tuesday when I should of posted it!)
I used Copics and the dark brown colours went all waxy and streaky :( and I didn't have time to start over again, or another image to colour anyway. The rest of the image is ok, but the hair is horrible! Just skip over her head! lol

I do love this image though :) It's from La-La Lan Crafts. I cut her out and stuck her onto a frame digi image which is from our sponsor this week- My Grafico. It's from the Delicate Frames digital stamp set by Lil Ellaboudy Design I'm just glad that I printed the frame out before I ran out of paper! I wanted to add little pearls to the dots on the frame, but I couldn't find any. I know I have but they have vanished....probably some little hands have taken them....aka my Daughter!! lol
So I added some stickles instead.
The papers are by Prima, flowers which again are stickled are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the pretty butterfly I got from The Works and I used a little piece of stringed pearls beside the flowers. They pearls were white but I wanted them blue, so I just coloured them with one of the Copics that I used to colour the image so it would match perfectly.....don't ya just love markers :)
Oh forgot to say that the prize this week is any digital set from My Grafico (no price limitation,  so the set the winner chooses could be worth up to $20!).

Thanks so much for stopping by and for any comments that you leave.
I have been rubbish at blogging lately, but I will be on a mission this weekend to visit everyone who has left me comments :)

A Tiddly Inks Fairy

The new challenge over at Digital Tuesday today is "Girly". That has to be the most easy challenge ever for me because I always make girly cards :)
Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Tiddly Inks and there is a $10 gift certificate up for grabs!

I used this lovely image from Tiddly Inks which is called "Fairy Fae Catches a Star"
I coloured her with a mix of Copics ad Promarkers and added some stickles for Sparkle. I seriously need some new hair and skin colours! I know I have been saying this for weeks, but still don't have any! Can't wait till Christmas is over and done with some I can buy some new markers! lol
Some of the papers I have used are Raspberry Road but not sure about the pink one.
I added some ribbon and lace from my stash, some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, some gorgeous butterflies from Little Snippets (link in my sidebar) which I added some pearls to and a few pearls dotted in with the flowers.

I love this image, it's so pretty :) and I now have lots of Tiddly Inks images on my wishlist! lol

Had to show a close up of the butterflies because they are so pretty :)
and one of the flowers so you can see the sparkle, which is done with stickles of course.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope to see some of you join in with this weeks girly challenge.
Oh I almost forgot, I was asked to make some card samples with some marbled papers for Hayley from Pots and Pancakes to show on Create and Craft and they were on the show yesterday :)
Thing is I can't show you any of them because.......I forgot to take pics before I posted them off!! LOL
But if you were watching the show yesterday, one of my cards was right at the front (you really couldn't miss it because it was bright red! lol)

Right I'm defo going now. Off to read my youngest Daughter a bedtime story :)

Digital Tuesday Flowers

The challenge this week at Digital Tuesday this week is "Say It With Flowers" and our sponsor is Fred She Said who is giving away a $20 gift certificate to one lucky winner.
Of course Tracey at FSS is the master of floral images, so she was the perfect sponsor for this week and the design team have used some of her images.
I don't often make floral cards, so this is a bit different for me!

The beautiful rose from Fred She Said is coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers and  also added some diamond stickles for a bit of sparkle.
The die cut which the images is on is a Nellie Snellen die.
The papers are Prima, large flowers are from Hobbycraft and the smaller pink ones and the tiny white ones are by Wild Orchid Crafts and I also added stickles to them :)
The pretty embroidered leaf is from Little Snippets, and some ribbon from my stash.

A close up of the rose which you can just about see the glitter on.

I don't know when I will be back with a post because my router broke last night and I have to wait for a new one to come which they said would be 2 to 3 days, so today I am writing this post at my MIL's house (it's Monday while I'm writing it) and  hopefully it will post on time!
I will be back for the new challenge at By The Cute and Girly on October 1st at  the latest though.
And just a heads up that we have something special planned for October as it's our 3rd birthday!! :) Lots of fun and prizes, so you won't want to miss it!

Thanks for stopping by today

Digital Tuesday Coral and Tan

A quick post today because my hand is really causing me problems and it's difficult to type :(
It was the lovely Amy's turn to choose the challenge at Digital Tuesday this week and she chose a colour combo of Coral and Tan or Kraft and she gave us a pic for some inspiration.

Our sponsor this week is Robyns Fetish who is giving away 5 digis of the winners choice.

For my card this week, I have used an image from Robyns Fetish.
Sorry about the rubbish pics, I had to them in a hurry with not much light!

The image is coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers. Not sure where the paper came from, but  it looks more orange here than it does in real life.
I didn't have any ribbon in the colour I wanted, so I just coloured some white satin ribbon with a tan promarker :)
Some ric rac, gems and a pretty flower from my stash and a gorgeous butterfly from Little Snippets.
The butterflies I have linked to are white but Geraldine does do them in different colours, just ask and you will receive ;)

You can't really see on this pic, but I added some tan spots to her ribbons :)

That's it from me today. Hope you are all having a great day.
Thanks so much for stopping by

Tuesday, 21 August 2012

My girls are back to school today, so I can finally get back into a routine and post on my blog a lot more often :) Liam goes back tomorrow, but hes no trouble. Hes a typical teenage boy and lays in his bed all day!! lol (sorry my apostrophe button on my keyboard is broken, so just pretend there is apostrophes where there should be! lol)

So today I am sharing a card that I made for this weeks challenge at Digital Tuesday where we have a sketch made my Maya to follow.

Our sponsor this week is Stitch Stamps who is giving away a $10 gift voucher to spend on anything from  3 of their designers, Stitchy Stamps,. Floppy Latte Designs and Barbara Jensen, who the design team also got use images from.

Sorry about the dull pics!
The image I used is called "Yo" and is by Barbara Jensen for Stitchy Stamps. You can find it here.
She has been coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers.
Not sure what make the striped paper is, but the other one is by Websters Pages (love their papers :))
In keeping with the sketch, I used a Tim Holz ticket, but I only had one left which said "dream" on it and it didnt really go with the card, so I cut out a sentiment from a sheet I found in my stash (sorry no idea where it came from) and stuck that on top.
Also used some lace, ribbon, ribbon slider, a Prima flower (havent used these in ages!!) which I added a charm thing on top of. It is not a spacer even though it looks like one. It has a little hoop at the top but I just snippet it off :)

You can just about see here that I added some stardust stickles around the edges of the leaves, also on the flower, ticket and around the edges of the image. Oh and I also used some glittery cardstock to mat with.

And some gorgeous sheer applique leaves from Little Snippets. I love these leaves! They are so pretty and make a nice change to paper/card die cut or punched leaves. I think these were my last ones, so will need to go stock up. Ger has loads of lovely "snippets" in her Etsy store, including the prettiest embroidered butterflies and flowers (she also does some crotchet ones) and one of my personal favourites from her store is the  Venice lace style scrapbook/card corners (you got to check them out, because they are so pretty) loads of different embroidered embellies, ribbon, pins and I just noticed while browsing the store that she has added a Christmas fabric selection pack which also includes a bonus embellishment kit (I love the snowflakes!), which I want....no need!! lol
If you have never been over to the Little Snippets Etsy store, you really have to pop over and have a peek :)

Hope some of you will join in with the challenge this week.
I am still struggling with my numb hands (both are numb now, except my thumb and first finger on my right hand which means I can still hold a marker and colour......just lol :) So sorry if I havent left you a comment lately. I have been vising blogs, but it takes forever for me to type so I havent left much comments these past few weeks (this post has taken me ages to write!! lol), but as soon as my hands are back to normal (hopefully sometime soon!), I will be back commenting as much as I can :)

Thanks so much for stopping by

Fruity

I should of posted this card this morning, but I've been super busy today with sorting out sponsor stuff for my challenge blogs, so only just got around to writing a post.
Before I get onto my card, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who left me comments and/or emailed me about yesterdays post. It really means a  lot to me to have your support and all the comments/emails really cheered me up :)
I haven't heard anything from my anonymous commenter since I did that post yesterday, so she has obviously got the message ;)

Right enough of that, here's a card I made for this months By The Cute and Girly challenge. The challenge this month is "Fruity" and although I thought I had no fruity images or papers etc, I managed to find an image, paper and a fruity charm! Go me!! lol
Oh and before I forget, we gift certificates up for grabs this month from Simon Says Stamp and Joanna Sheen.

I found this image in my digi files from Bugaboo which was perfect for the challenge.
I coloured her up with a mix of Copics and Promarkers and added little bits of stardust stickles.
The papers are by Raspberry Road (I think?) quite appropriate for  the challenge now that I think about it. That wasn't actually intentional, I just noticed that just now lol. I chose the use these ones as this pad had the strawberry paper.
The crotchet flower is from Little Snippets which I added on top of a Prima bloom and some skeleton leaves which I found in my stash....never even know I had red skeleton leaves! (I also found some blue ones! lol) and I also added a little charm on top which I got from my BTC&G teamie Ger. I just snipped off the little hole at the top. The cute strawberry charm was also a gift from Ger (she's sooo good to me!!:)) Oh and some ribbon from my stash.

If your wandering why I used wavy edges on everything......well, it wasn't supposed to be that way, but when I went to cut my card blank, my wavy cutter was on instead of straight and I didn't notice, so I just went with the wavy theme! lol

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope to see you join in with the challenge.

A couple of DT cards

I have two dt cards to show today for By The Cute and Girly and Digital Tuesday, so there will be quite a few pics today.

My first card is for By The Cute and Girly where the theme this month is "A Day At........"
I already had a card made for this challenge a while ago, but I have no idea where I put it and haven't took a pic of it, so will show that one when it turn up lol. So I had to make another one and it just so happened that Krista was giving away a free Saturated Canary digi when I was about to make my card, so I just had to use it :)
I'm having problems crafting just now as my left hand and wrist is totally numb (been like that for the last few weeks!) I had this on and off for about a year (maybe more), but it has never been this bad. I can't even hold a piece of ribbon to cut it without my hand shaking like crazy :( It's sooo frustrating, but at least I am right handed and can still colour :) It's just hard to do everything with one hand, so I enlisted the help of my 7 year old daughter Chiara to help with the distressing and inking on this card!! lol

This image is called "Fancy" and I think it would be good for a wedding card, but I have gone with "A Day At The Prom"....well it would actually be a night at the prom but never mind lol.
I coloured her with Copics then distressed the edges and inked them up a bit (with the help of Chiara). A bit more ink than I would of liked but never mind.
The papers are all from My Minds Eye, Lost and Found collection. I still love these papers, but only have tiny scraps left now :(
Oh except the sheet music which is from an old sheet music book.
All the papers were distressed and inked.
I also added some cheesecloth which a lovely blogging friend sent me as I had been wanting some for ages and couldn't find it anywhere, so she sent me a small piece to play with :) Thanks again hun xx
Some sparkly white and gold lace, which I threaded through a pearl ribbon slider, both of which I got from my fabby friend Geraldine (thanks again Ger xx).
Some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and little pink pearl hearts, and a beautiful embroidered butterfly from Little Snippets.
You can find this gorgeous swirly sheer lace butterfly here
And a little close up of the image. I haven't listed colours as the post is long enough lol, but if you want to know, email me or leave a message in my chart box and I will let you know which colours I used :)

Onto my other card which is for Digital Tuesday and the challenge this week is "All Tied Up".
Our sponsor this week is My Heart Pieces
and the owner Priyanka gave me an image to play with :)
I wish I had used different colours on this card because I really don't like this green and yellow very much, but I will show it anyway.

Sorry about the blurry pics, not sure what happened here lol.
I used some Raspperry Road papers which I love the print on, but wish it was in different colours....like pink lol.
I used some old flowers from my stash, along with some embroidered leaves from Little Snippets.
You can find them here and some card candy.
I cut a large scalloped square with my Cricut, added some ribbon and I used some little star charms that Ger sent me to make a little dangly charm thing with some funky fibers.

The image was coloured with Copics, and I have to say that her dress/top does not look like that irl!! Not sure what happened with the pic ,but it looks like the greens aren't blended together at all...weird!!
Oh and I cut the image out with a Nellie Snellen die.

Finally a close up of the dangling charm thing lol.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you will join in with one or both of the challenges.

Rock A Bye Baby

The new challenge is up over at Digital Tuesday and this week, the challenge is to decorate the inside of your cards. That was an easy one for me because I always decorate the inside, although I sometimes decorate the insides after I have taken a pic for my blog (normally because I am running late!) and I even when I have them decorated in time, I never really show pics of the inside. I always forget to take a pic.

Anyway, our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps and I used one of their images for my card.
I chose a sweet baby image called Boo Peeker- Rocking Horse, hence my title for this post :)
I have quite a few pics so you may want to grab a cuppa and get comfortable before reading the rest of this post!

No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get good pics of this card and the colours don't look the same in real life.... they are softer than they show up here.
I coloured the cute image with Copics and a tiny touch of pink Promarker (list of colours are at the bottom of the post because I actually remembered to keep a list!!), then cut it out and matted with scalloped circle nesties.
I followed the sketch over at Charisma cardz, I used some more of the First Edition papers, they are just sooo pretty:)
The flowers are ones I found in my stash and a pretty crotchet one from Little Snippets which I added a button too.
Some ribbon from my stash and some lilac tulle which you can't really see but I cut some little bits and added them under the flowers.

I decorated both sides inside with the same papers, kinda following through from the sketch on the front. On the right, I used a little flower and some tulle strips and left a plain white panel to write on.
On the left, I just tied some more tulle around one of the panels :)

I just had to show a close up of the image because it's so sweet :)

Last photo (promise!! lol), a close up of the pretty flowers. I don't normally use flowers like these (the paper ones), and I was going to use some roses, but the only ones I have left in pink or lilac are large ones and I thought they looked a bit odd on this card, so I had a look in my stash and found a pack of these that had never been opened (think I got them from Barry's Mum's friend when she gave me a pile of stuff because she was moving to a smaller house and couldn't take all  her crafty stash with her) and the colour was right, so I just used them. I do love WOC roses, but these are a nice change and my flower stash is rather low, so it means that I can what few roses I have left for a little bit longer lol.

Oh and before I forget, here the list of markers I used.

skin- E11, E00, E000 and R20 for cheeks
Horse- E25, E35, E31
Clothes and other bits of horse- V04, V01, V000, RV2, R000 and a tiny bit of Pink Carnation Promarker.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving such lovely comments. It really does mean a lot to me and I do read every comment, even though it may take me a while to publish them.
Hope to see some of you join in with this weeks challenge :)

A very girly ballet dancer :)

It's time for a new challenge over at By The Cute and Girly. I can't believe it's July already!!
It was Brigitte's turn to choose the challenge theme this month and she chose "A Day At....."
I think this is a really fun challenge because it could be a day anywhere.
For my first card this month, I decided I would do a day at the ballet:)
Mayzy Art is our digi sponsor this month and she offered the design team an image each to play with for the challenge so I picked a really girly one (nothing new there then lol).
We are also sponsored by our two regular sponsors, Simon Says Stamp and Joanna Sheen who are giving away a $20 and £10 gift certificate as well as Mayzy Art giving away 5 digital images of the winners choice from her store!! So why not pop over and join in with the challenge?

As I said I made a girly card with a Mayzy Art image. The image is called Digi Dancers Ballet.

Sorry about the rubbish pic! I took it in a hurry when there was hardly any light!
I've coloured the pretty image with Copics and added some Stardust Stickles to make her sparkly.
The papers are from the Dreamcatcher pad by First Edition, love the sparkly papers in this pad:)
I've covered up most of the purple paper which is lovely and sparkly but it is there lol.
I also used some pink fiber stuff (can't remember what's it called) which I found in my stash.
Flowers are Wild Orchid crafts, which added some stickles too, ribbon, pin and doily from my stash, the cute charm was a gift from Geraldine and the gorgeous butterfly which I also added some stickles to, is from Little Snippets Etsy store, which is open again and selling all the lovely embroidered embellies again:) as well as crotchet bits, pins and ribbons.
I popped over to have a look so I could add a direct link to the butterfly, but this one isn't posted in the store just now, although I'm sure Ger will add it soon.
I have a habit of posting cards made with bits that aren't even in the store! lol, but Ger is great, just let her know what you are looking for and I'm sure she will sort you out with whatever you are after (embellishment wise of course!! lol)

I forgot to take a note of the Copic colours I used for this one as I coloured it a few weeks ago, but I have been keeping lists when I remember lol.

Thanks for stopping by today and I promise I will be back soon with my paper review that I said I would do!!

Easel Card with box

The new challenge is up at By The Cute and Girly and our theme this month is "Cute As A Button".
Now I don't need any excuse to make a cute card, but I don't often use buttons and after looking through my stash, I only found a handful! Think I'd better stock up on buttons!!

This month instead of making another card, I wanted to do something different but had no idea what.
I have seen some of these easel cards with boxes underneath before around blogland but have never made one, so thought I would give it a try. Try I did, but it didn't turn out very well!! lol
It would of probably helped if I looked for measurements or a tutorial on the net, but I decided I would just try work it out myself...bad move!! lol
I didn't have 12x12 paper that was thick enough (only got some thin(ish) glossy card, so need to stock up on that too!), so instead of my usual 6x6" card, I made a 4x4 easel card and then the box to fit underneath.
I'm not happy with how it turned out, 1 because it's a lot smaller than what I normally make and there wasn't enough room for lots of embellies and 2 because I don't have a proper score board (only one of those little things that don't have measurement on) and can you believe that I don't own a ruler??!!! lol So I had to kind of work out the measurements using my cutter which was a problem because I have the crafters companion 5 in 1 thing (which I hate by the way!! lol) and you can't see the measurements between 7 and 8 inches.
Anyway, the bit that wraps around the drawer could of been a bit smaller, but all in all for my first attempt without a tutorial, I think it's turned out ok and I will have another try at it.

All the papers I used are K&Co and I even decorated the back but I didn't take a pic lol.
The image is a digi from Di's Digi Downloads who is one of our sponsors this month and I coloured it with Copics.

The scalloped square was cut with a Nellie Snellen die and the top leaf with a Marianne die. Buttons and pearl hearts from my stash. Crotchet flower and embroidered leaf are from Little Snippets etsy store (unfortunately Ger is no longer selling her embroidered bits no more) and the top flower is a Prima one.
The lace is some I got a while back from my teamie Ger. To make it sturdy enough since it is used as the drawer handle, I stuck it to a strip of card which worked well as it meant I could shape it to stay the way I wanted without it just flopping over.

Isn't this image cute? :) I popped it up with foam pads to give it a bit of dimension.

The BTC&G dt have done a great job again this month and have loads of inspiration for you, so why not pop over and see what the rest of the team made and join in with the challenge too.
We have prizes from our 2 regular sponsors, Simon Says Stamp and Joanna Sheen and also from our digi sponsor this month, Di's Digi Downloads.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you are having a great day!

Sunflower Smiles

I can't believe I have actually blogged 3 days in a row now after not blogging at all for a month! I missed of missed you all too much! :) lol
I actually got a card made yesterday that wasn't for any dt's, decided I would make one just for fun for a change. I didn't even follow any challenges. It's been so long since I have made a card just because I want to!
I'm not very keen on it mind you, but thought I would show it anyway, and I also found a card pic on my computer that has been there for about 6 weeks and never been blogged, so thought I would show that one today too.

Ok, so my first card is a happy sunflower one :) I found a printed image by Pink Cat Studio, that I must of printed out months ago but never coloured, so I coloured her up and made a simple card with it.

I thought this was a nice bright, fun image to use since we have been having such horrible wet weather in Scotland lately :)
The paper I used is one from a pad that came with a magazine and I can't remember for the life of me who it's by. We have been getting some great paper pads free with the mags lately though, haven't we? I never buy magazines unless they have a nice free gift with them! lol It's normally cheaper to buy the mag than it is to buy the paper pad itself, so I figure that I'm getting a bargain and also have a mag to read if I'm bored lol.
The lace was a gift from my lovely blogging friend Ger and I threaded some green organza ribbon from my stash through it.
The flowers are ones I have had from when I designed for Janlynn.com/Stamps Happen, and they no longer sell them. I'm not a big sunflower fan, but thought these went well with the image.
The image is coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers and I actually used my Cricut to cut out the scalloped squares and also the leaves. Told you I would only use it for normal shapes lol.
I am having problems getting the correct pressure/speed etc though, so it's kind of put me off using it :( It's just a waste of good paper/card (which I have hardly any of as it is!) when it won't cut properly and tears the paper to bits! The girl I bought it from said that it was a new blade that was fitted in it, so I'm sure it's just me not being able to use it properly! lol. As I bought it second hand, it didn't come with any instructions, so I have had to do a bit of searching online to find out what pressure etc I need to set it at, but even after following all the recommendations on the Provocraft site, I still can't get it right! lol

My second card is Springy too :) I think I should of maybe used one of these cards for the By The Cute and Girly challenge instead of using one that isn't very springy lol.

I love this cute image from LOTV, but I'm not happy with the way I coloured it. I don't have this stamp, but I got some LOTV stamped images months back in a magazine (told you these mags come in handy! lol) and they are on really thin paper, so you can't really add much ink without it bleeding.
The papers I used on this one are K&Co, roses from my stash, the big flower I have no idea who make it because I bought them off a blogging friend (thanks again hunnie), and the embroidered leaves and butterfly were from Little Snippets, but unfortunately Ger has stopped selling her embroidered bits :( Such a shame because they are beautiful. Oh and the ribbon is also from Little Snippets.

That's it from me for today on the card front, but I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who left my comments these last few days. They really cheered me up and gave me the incentive I needed to keep blogging :) You are all fantastic and I appreciate every one of you coming to visit and taking the time to leave me comments :)
