It's Ellie's turn to host the challenge this week over at Digital Tuesday and she has set the theme of "Summertime".
I have used some more of my freebie Nitwit papers as I made this card right after I made my DT card for yesterdays Bella Studio challenge, and I thought I would use them up while I had them out.
I wanted to use yellow on my card anyway, so these papers came in handy :)
Sorry about the pic! Don't know what is going on with my camera but no matter what I did, every pic of this card came out all weird!
The image I have used today is from the "Little Bits" collection at Bella Studio and is called "Daisy with pigtails and tutu". Isn't she just a little sweetie?
I coloured her with Promarkers and I wanted to colour the toadstool/mushroom red but my darling Daughter has lost my red marker! So I done it brown instead.
All the papers and embelishments on this one are from the same magazine as I used from yesterday (creative cardmaking Summer special edition).
I have actualy quite enjoyed using the bits and pieces frm this mag and it's much cheaper than buying flowers and ribbon etc! It was £4.99 and you get 32 pages full of papers and designs to embelish with!
I normaly don't like using papers from magazines because they ae so thin and look really cheap but these are a good weight.
I am also entering this card into the Paper Play challenge where their challenge is "It's Sunny Here" and they want to see Sun or Sunglasses on your project. I used the sun with a sentiment on it, which was a bit of a fiddle because I cut out all the tiny bits individualy then pieced it back together on my card.
I hope you can join in with us this week. Our sponsor this week is our very own Ellie's company, Digital Stamp Oasis and she is offering 3 of her cute images to the winner.

Bella Studio challenge
I can't believe the weekend is over already! I can't wait till after Friday because the kids will be off school for their Summer Holidays and I have a whole 6 weeks of not having to get buses to school! YAY!! Mind you I will have to put up with 3 kids 24 hours a day for 6 weeks though so maybe I won't be so happy by the time next Monday comes lol.
It's the start of a new challenge over at the Bella Studio challenge and Tammy wants to see us using the cute "Dancin Chick" image.
I have went for a simple card this week and I am not sure that I like it very much but it's done now so here it is!
I used some more Nitwit papers from the same magazine as last weeks Bella card (I just love that mag, it has so many pretty papers in it!), and the flower and faux ribbon are from the magazine too.
The corner decoration is one I punched from some of the blue paper with a Mcgill decrative corner punch.
The cutie Dancin Chick is from the Little Furry range from Bella Studio was coloured with Promarkers and the sentiment is also from Bella Studio and is in the Celebration Sentiments set.
Daphne has been really busy and has loads of new images in store and new ones coming soon too, so why not hop over and see all the little cuties that Bella Studio has to offer. I promise you wil not be dissapointed, they are all super cute!
I am also entering this card into Stampin' For The Weekend challenge as I followed their sketch and they also wanted to see the colour combo of yellow and blue.
Thanks for stopping

Digital Tuesday and Fred She Said DT card
It's time for another Digital Tuesday challenge and this week it's Anne-Marije's turn to host the challenge and she has chose "Christmas In June"!!!
I don't know about you but I was glad to see the back of Christmas, but it was quite fun to get out my Christmas papers and glitter and make a mess ;)
Our sponsor this week is Dustin Pike who will give the winner 3 of his digis.
I used an image from Fred She Said and coloured it with Promarkers, but this one also comes pre coloured .
The papers I used are all Bo Bunny and the snoflake is a sizzix original die which I cut out of mountboard and covered with SU! Dazzling Diamonds. The lace and pearls (which are actually clear but show up red here! lol) are from my stash.
Well I think I might make another one for the Christmas stash because I don't want to leave it last minute like I did last year and ended up not making cards for half of the people I was supposed to!
Thanks for stoppin by.

Bella Studio challenge - Flowers and Pearls
It's a lovely day here in Aberdeen today and I have been stuck indoors at my girls school tidying up all the mess made after the Summer Fayre which was on Saturday!
We made loads of money and the kids all had a great time so it was well worth all the hard work we put in organising it :)
Over at the Bella Studio challenge blog, the new challenge has been posted and it's my turn to host this week, so I picked "Flowers and Pearls". I know that won't be a surprise to anyone lol.
So here's what I made.
Isn't this image great? This is Little Cheeky - Cupcake Girl and she is of course from Bella Design Studio. I couloured her with Promarkers, then painted over the image with distress crackle paint and dipped the edges in some glitter while the paint was still wet. You can't really see the crackle in this pic but I will try to takje another one later so you can see it better.
The papers and flowers are Nitwit papers which were free in a magazine! I stitched the edges of the papers by hand (because my sewing machine is broken!!) and I also used the crackle paint and glitter on the flowers. Oh and the heart that is peeking out from behind the image was from the same magazine.
The pearl spray and pin are from my stash.
I hope you can come join in with this weeks challenge!

Bella Studio Blog Hop and challenge
Good morning and thanks for stopping by!
Today is the Bella Studio blog hop and as well as some eye candy along the way, there will also be an oppurtunity to win some yummy candy too :)
First of all though I will show you my card for this weeks challenge which is to use a sentiment as as the focus on your card.
Now for anyone who visits my blog regularly, you will probably have noticed that I just don't do cards without an image, so I had to sneak one in lol.
Ok I know the sentiment is not really the only main focus on my card but that's as close as it will get from me lol. It's not tucked away in a corner somewhere so I think it counts right?
Anyway I just had to use this little cutie "Pickle" because she is so sweet. How could I make a card and not use her?
This little sweetie is available now at the Bella Studio store and she comes without the banner too and with plain and some printed dresses.
The sentiment is also from Bella Studio and I coloured both the sentiment and image with Promarkers.
The base paper is Papermania and the green and blue ones are Basic Grey. Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts and I made the green and blue one, which by the way I made a little tutorial last week which you can also see over at the Bella Challenge blog.
Did I mention before that they have a post every weekday over there? We have techniques, sketches, embelishing and colour combos for you to try as well as our weekly challenge! See loads to go have a look at :)
Now for the hop , here's the rules for both the challenge and the hop (can you tell I am lazy and just cut and paste? lol)
How to play: To participate in the Weekly Challenge, please create a *new* project using any Bella Digi Image following the current week's theme. You must link to your project using the link tool at the bottom of the post on the main Bella Challenge Blog A winner will be chosen via random.org and that person will receive the blog candy listed in the challenge post. In addition, the DT will choose their favorite three projects from all participants and ONE winner will be chosen to be the following week's Guest Designer. To be considered for the top three, you must have purchased an image from the shop (unless otherwise noted)...however, you don't have to use the purchased image in that week's challenge. During New Release Blog Hops a special blinkie will be embedded into one DT member's post. If you find that image, make sure you note it in your comment on that blog. One winner will be chosen at random to receive ONE new pre-selected image from that month's release.
Now you should hop over to see what lovelyness Dawn has to show you.
Remember to become a follower (if you aren't already) and leave a comment on each blog to be in with a chance of winning.
Along the way you may find some extra goodies on some of the design teams blogs, and remember to look out for that blinkie!
Here's a list of the order in which you need to go incase you lose your way.

Bella Studio blog mini tutorial
No card from me today, just popped on to tell you that I have posted a mini flower tutorial over at the Bella Studio blog.
It's nothing spectacular, just showing how I make my flowers with punched or handcut flowers shapes but it may be useful to someone :)
I would love for you to check it out though and leave me a comment over there, and while your there, why not snag the freebie and make a card for our first challenge ;)

Bella Studio First Challenge and a cute freebie
It's the first challenge over at the Bella Studio challenge blog and to start things off Daphne the owner and creator of the sweet images is giving away a freebie so everyone can join in :)
Our very first challenge is "Wishes" and the free image aptly named "Wish Pickle" is the one I (and the rest of the design team) have used on my card.
Isn't she a sweetie? I coloured her with Promarkers and I left the card quite plain (well plain for me lol) so I could show her off.
I have been toning down my use of embelies and layers of paper lately though because my mojo is not up to scratch at the minute, so a simple card like this is much easier to get finished lol.
The papers are Papermania and I punched some flowers from the scraps with my SU! 5 petal punch and added a rose in the middle from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I am not sure where the sentiment is from because I got it in a rak (thanks hun) but I thought it went perfectly with this image.
Now you have seen what I did, why don't you hop over there and snag this cutie for yourself, then make a card with her and you will be in the running to win a gift voucher to spend in the Bella Studio Store.
There will also be the chance to be a guest designer. So what you waiting for? Get your bums over there!
Thanks for stopping by

Loads of DT stuff and a really long post!
Now I have warned you that this will be a really long post, so you can go get a cuppa now and get yourself comfy before you read this ;) lol
I have loads of DT stuff to show and also a bit of news to tell, so I will get started!
First of all my bit of news is that I have been asked to join the design team at Bella Designs Studio.
You have got to check out these new digi's, they are so sweet, and we will have challenges every week as well over at the challenge blog, so check back next week to see our first challenge!
I will be showing some cards made with the sweet images soon but for now I will get on with showing you the rest of my DT stuff because there is loads!
The new challenge is up at By The Cute and Girly and this months challenge is hosted by Debs who has chose the theme " something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue".
You could go for the obvious wedding theme, or use the colour blue, something old or new from your stash, a technique that is new to you or an idea you have "borrowed" from someone elses blog (with their permission of course).
There is just so much you could do for this challenge and I can't wait to see what you all come up with!
As always we have some great prizes to be won and you can enter with any type of craft.
My first thinsg to show is a card which is also my Fred She Said dt card.
I used the colour blue and also the image is a new one from FSS. I used this image not long ago but I love it so just had to use it again ;)
This is Emma Blowing Bubbles and I have coloured her with Promarkers. She is also now available pre coloured for anyone who doesn't like colouring or if you need to make a card quick, the precoloured images are great, just print and go :)
I won't bother doing the "recipe" bit for papers and embelishments etc today because I woud never get the post finished lol, but if you would like to know details of anything I have used, just drop me an email and I will get back to you with any info :)
My next project for By The Cute and Girly is a door plaque. It has a bit on the back to hang it up but you can't see that in the pic.
The great image is from In Style Stamps and again is coloured with Promarkers. I love these manga style images, they are so nice to colour.
The actual plaque is made from mountboard (which I still have loads of, but I am starting to use it up lol).
I was going to put my girls names on this but both their names wouldn't fit so I just wrote girls room lol.
I have used blue paper and also the image is new to me and it's for a new bedroom lol.
My final project for By The Cute and Girly is some scrapbook pages. Now I have never ever done any scrapping before so this was quite a task for me!
A lady at my Daughter's school had bought a 12x12 album to give to her Daughter who is expecting her first baby in a few weeks, and she asked me if I would decorate the pages so she just had to add the photos and little keepsake bits after the baby was born.
She wanted it kept simple and not much embelishments and I found it really difficult to keep it simple but she did give me all the stickers and papers that came with the album so I could use those, which added a bit of decoration. Still a bit plain for me, but I'm sure they will look better when the cute baby pics are added :)
I just used the papers and a few stickers from the kit and some punched flowers with gems for this one. I wanted to leave enough space on each page so she can add all her photos as well as her own little touches :)
Again just very plain and I only used the stickers and papers from the kit.
And the final one I just added some ribbon from my stash.
I still have loads of pages to do and I will show them as I finish them, but I think after this album is finished, that will be the end of my scrapping days lol.
Now over at Digital Tuesday this weeks challenge is being sponsored by In Style Stamps, who are offering the winner 4 of their fab digi stamps, and they also gave the design team an image each to play with.
It's Shelly's turn to host the challenge this week and for her challenge theme she chose "Let's Get Trendy", she wants to see all the different trends.
Now I must admit that I had no idea where I was going with this challenge, but after I had a look at the images at In Style Stamps, I found Bella and thought she would be perfect for a 60's trend, so here's what I came up with.
I thought the spotty and floral papers were perfect for the 60's theme.
I tried something new with the flowers on this one, instead of just sticking them down on the card, I used the stalks on them to wrap them around the ribbon so they would stand up as these roses don't stick on cards very well as they are more like rose buds than the normal roses I use. I think I like them like this though :)
Right I promise that's all I have to show for now lol, but I have got a card made with a Bella Designs image so I may be back later with that ;)
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you can join in with the challenges.
Hugs
