Pastel Vintage Tilda?

After I made the vintage Tilda card the other day, I was speaking to Lisa Jane who is on the DT for Moving Along With The Times and she told me the challenge over there this week is pastel vintage, so I thought I would give it a go. They also have a sketch to follow so I used that, except I didn't want to put a sentiment where they had a small rectangle as I don't know what I will use this card for so I am hoping that my pearl swirl in it's place with be ok.
I normaly go for darker colours when I attempt vintage so this really was a challenge for me!
I used some peachy/pinky coloured papers and I already had a Tilda coloured in that I done a while ago so I used her, but I had used brown on her so as it's supposed ot be pastels, I'm not sure if I will get away with that? The papers are all a light pastel colour though :)

I think the papers I used are papermania, but I'm not 100% sure. They are from a pad that I have had for a while but it was split in half and I can't find the other half that has the front cover on to find out who makes it lol.
I distressed all the edges and lightly inked them with antique linen distress ink.
I can't remember what I coloured Tilda with as it was a while ago that I coloured her, but I think it might of been a mic of Copics and Promarkers as I had only just started using Promarkers then and didn't have much colors.

The flowers are made from the Paper Roses and Leaves Template Set from Fred She Said.
These are great  if you are like me and don't have a flower or leaf dies or punches as you just print and cut. You also get a different flower and a different leaf shape with stalks too so you can mix and match.
I do have a couple of flower punches but they are no good for making roses and I have no leaf ones so this set is just perfect for me.

I used some of the same paper I used for the middle strip on my card and just printed some flowers on the back of it then cut them out and layered them up.
I didn't really go for a rose type flower because it fitted my card better this way, instead I just curled the petals a little and added a small pearl in the middle. I also added some frosted lace stickles all over the petals (I just rubbed some over them with my finger, no fancy tools here lol).
For the leaves I just printed them straight onto normal card and coloured them with promarkers.

The lace is from a local shop, small roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, pearls from Ebay and I found the little metal fan in my stash.

I don't know if this is very vintage but it's about the closest I am going to get using light colours lol.
I could of printed out a vintage image but my printer ink is running really low and I really wanted to use this Tilda because she is one of my favourites :)

Thanks for stopping by! I will be back later with my card for Digital Tuesday which I am late with!
I was supposed to make it yesterday but I ended up out all day with the kids and didn't get back till late after dropping them off in Stonehaven with their Nana so didn't have time to get it done.....sorry Ellie!

I love to read your comments so please leave one to let me know you have came by and I will return the visit :)

Lora, I think it is fantastic. Tilda is colored so well, I think the brown looks like a nice pale/pastl brown so it works perfectly. Great layout and paper too.
