I've learnt my lesson and wrote this post last night so I am not typing so fast that there is smoke coming off my fingers because I am running late for the kids school again!
This week at Cute Daisy May Net wants to see Thank You cards.
I went with another shaped card made with one of the Cutting Cafe's shaped card templates. This is the first time I have used this one and I think I like it.I am fed up apologising for the rubbish photos so I won't bother, you all know by now that they are going to be pants anyway lol.
I have used papers by DCWV, embossed a piece of pink card then wiped over it with a distress ink pad then sanded it a bit. I was going to start over again when I got bits of ink on the bits that aren't embossed but I didn't bother. I think it makes it unique lol.
Of course my image is Cute Daisy May and sentiment is SU!, everything else from my stash.
Over at Squigglefly, Kim has set the challenge of a shaped card, so I just had to use another of
the cutting templates from the Cutting Cafe. This time I used the frame shape.
I have left this one really simple because these cards are quite small so I just used a big layered flower, some swirls and lace. the huge flower is a Prima and everything else is from my stash.
Remember to pop over and look at all the other girls cards on both challenge blogs.

A 3rd post!! I'm on a roll
I told you I might post another cad tonight! I went and had a look at the challenges and decided I would combine two of my favourites. Sketch Saturday and Whiff Of Joy. The girls over at WOJ challenge want to see bling this week and I think I just about managed that, what do you think?
I am so annoyed with this photo, my gems look flat and horrible here but IRL they are sparkly and pretty.
I love all the bling flourishes and other shapes that I have seen people use a lot of lately and I wanted to use something like that for this card but I don't have any so I stupidly decided I would make my own pattern with gems.( Note to self, don't ever have this idea again!) These gems aren't even the sticky back kind either so I had to stick them all on one by one with glue in the shape I wanted. I looked at the flourish I used on the card I did earlier for the basic shape then just started sticking and I have to admit it did take a while to get them all to stay stuck in the right place lol.
The WOJ images were another RAK and I just cut them both out and stuck my girl onto the chair. Papers are DCWV, flowers are Primas and everything else is from my stash.
Oh and the strips of paper was a piece of heat embossed card that a friend sent me about a year ago, it looks so mcuh better in real life. You can't really see here but the embossing is sparkly and really stands out.
I think I will try to get another photo of this one in the morning because I am really not happy with it.
Anyway I hope you are all having a great day/evening and thank you so much for stopping by :)

My 2nd post today!
That's right it's my second post of the day!! It's been a long time since I've done two posts and actualy had cards to show in both, and I may even have more to show later!
I have made a card following the sketch at Stampavie and more and I have used a Magnolia image with ribbon and a bow which also qualifies for this weeks Just Magnolia challenge.
I still can't get my camera working so another dodgy scan I'm afraid.
After I wrote my last post, I remembered that I had some of these lovely big flourishes that Lisa sent me (thanks hunni, I love em), so I just had to use one. The little swirl I punched with an All Night Media punch. I got this Tilda image from a friend too and coloured her with my usual Copics. My Daughter Rhianna loves this card so I may keep it for her birthday which is on the 10th September. Oh my goodness, I just realised that's only 11 days away and I haven't bought her anything or even started on any of her cards yet! I normally make one for Barry's parents to give her too so I think this one might just have to be for Rhianna! She was telling me her birthday wish list today though. She wants loads of cardmaking stuff lol, she wants her own little stash so she doesn't have to ask me if she can use stuff, bless her. She also wants a Barbie scooter that has make up in it. the girl has her priorities right, crafting comes first, then looking good and having transport lol.
Right I'm off to do some bloghopping before starting on another card.
recipe:
papers: Basic Grey
image: Magnolia Tilda (rak), sentiment- Stampin Up!
embelishments: flourish was a rak from Lisa, flowers are a mix of Primas and some from my stash, pearls and ribbon from stash.
tools: Copic markers, fiskars threading water (scalloped) border punch, All Night Media swirl punch
Thanks for stopping by, please scroll down to see the other card I made today :)

The Sugar Bowl - Kathy's sketch
I've finished all my DT stuff for this week so I have been playing this morning, amd made a card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge which is a sketch by Kathy and you also have to include buttons.
Here's what I came up with.
I know it's another pants picture! Does anyone want to send me a new camera?.......no didn't think so. Oh well you will just have to put up with my blurry pics for now.
The papers are a Basic Grey and the double sided one is s.e.i.
Lace, spacers, brads and the little button are from my stash, the punched leaves/branches were a rak from Heather (Rica) and the big swirl was from Linnie. I thought I didn't have any more of the swirls but I found two, so I have 1 left and the branches are all finished*sob*. The fab large button was one Barry got for me one day he went into town with the kids. It's quite heavy and looks like Mother Of Pearl or something like that. Very posh don't ya think? That will be why he only got me one! lol He did get me two others that are similar but they don't have a pattern on them.
Well what do you think? I quite like this card and I had loads of fun making it. Think I will use this sketch again.
I haven't posted much lately so a lot of my visitors have stopped coming and I am feeling a bit lonely :( So please do leave me a comment to let me know you have stopped by :)
Sorry to dissapoint you all, but I am back to my normal self now (ish) so I will be back to posting every day.

A very purple card
I've been a busy bee today, done a lot of DT stuff but wanted to do something I could show on my blog now, so I decided I would use one of the fab digi images that Lynda gave me. She has just opened a new digi store called Cut It Up Paper Crafts and has some really great images for sale. Check out her blog too (link above) for some gorgeous cards made with some of them.
I had alerady coloured my image in yesterday but didn't get around to putting it on a card so when I saw the sketch over at Papertake Weekly, I knew just what I was going to use.
My camera has died again so I had to scan this one. It's a little blurry around the edges but you can still see this fabby image and the papers so I've posted it anyway.
All the papers are downloads and I think they are all from different places but I'm not sure where. I know the one I have stuck my image in is from the set I won over at the Kaboodle challenge. I have used this set loads since I got it because it has loads of different colours in it, so handy :)
This particular image is Fashion Karina and isn't she fab? You have got to go over to see teh rest of Lynda's designs, they are all just as good as this one, and it's not just girls either, she has some cool boys too.
Well that 's the card done and I have a little bit of news. First of all, did anyone notice I didn't have a card for the Little Yellow Comapany yesterday? Well that's because Claire has closed down the challenge blog as there were hardly any entries. The store is still open though.
Also a bit of excitment for me yesterday, I won Steve's cryptic quiz yesterday over at Lisa and Steve's challenge blog Sophisticats!! I was one of 3 who got all the answers correct and then I was the first to reply with the correct answer for the tie breaker! So I won myself a WOJ stamp, YAY :D :D
And the last little bit of unimportant news that no-one will be interested in is.........My MOJO IS BACK!!!!! Well on it's way home anyway. I had loads of fun with this card and can't wait to get started on some more, but first I want to catch up with a few weeks of DT work so I have loads of time to play over the next few weeks.
Thanks for stopping by today, please do leave me a comment to let me know what you think of this card. Is my mojo returning or is it just tricking me? Either way though, I really don't care because I am not depressed anymore and I am a happy chappy :D
Oh before I sign off, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has left me comments and emailed me over the last few weeks when I was feeling down. You really have no idea how much you have all helped me through this rough time. I know if I didn't have you all to support and encourage me, I would of had to go to my GP to get some happy pills but now I don't need them :)
And a huge thank you to CURT xx. Curt left me the funniest comment last week when I had done nothing but cry all day and that really was the turning point for me. It really made me laugh and I even made a card the next day after not making one for days :)
Right no more talk of depressing stuff. I'm off to see what you have all been up too.

Digital Tuesday - Hop to it
It's time for another Digital Tuesday Challenge and this week it's Jenn's turn to host. She has set the challenge "Hop To It"- use an image that hops easy as that. Well not so easy if you are like me and couldn't find a hopping image but I got there.
Dustin Pike is our sponsor this week and is offerign another 3 of his digi's (winners choice).
As I said I couldn't find a image to use, until after i had made the card, then I found loads lol, so I used a frog that I downloaded as part of a scrapbook set. I am not sure of the link for this one but I do know it's by designs by donna if that helps.
As most of you will know, my mojo has not been around so using this frog really helped because it was already coloured. I have kept the card really simple. 1) because I wanted the cute frog to stand out and 2) because my mojo wouldn't let me be creative lol.
The papers I have used are by Papermania. I used my Fiskars Threading Water/Scallop Border punch and the gems and ribbon are from my stash.
Nothing else to say about this card, plain and simple a bit like myself sometimes. I mean the simple part lol.
Hope some of you can join in with this fun challenge and don't forget to check out the other girls cards on the challenge blog because they have done a much bettere job than me!

A very quick Christmas card
I made a quick Christmas card yesterday with one of the new craft stamps from Janlynn.
I have to admit though that I totally messed it up because I had planned on using both sides of a 12x12 paper but I stuck a bit down the wrong way so now all the card is the same paper! Ah well you win some, you lose some lol. I think simple cards like this are ideal if you have to make a batch of cards like lots of us do at Christmas though. It takes too long to make loads of cards with lots of layers and embelies on especially if your like me and normally start your Christmas cards in December lol.
This is a small card so I didn't want to pile the embelishments on so I just used a few pearls from my stash (sorry they look really blurry and a bit weird here).
This stamp is from Janlynn's new Stamps Happen holiday line and is called Christmas Bird & gifts which you can see here. Very original name I thought lol. Isn't this little birdie cute though?
I paper pieced the whole thing except fot the white bits.
I coloured on some of the presents with my Copics just so they didn't all look the same and used a white pen for a few bits too.
The glittery ribbon is from a huge lot of different ribbons I got on Ebay. I won a large envelope full (the largest bubble ones) for under £3 including postage!
Right I'm off to bed and will be back in the morning with my card for Digital Tuesday.

Double Dt cards
Good morning people, it's pouring of rain here today and I'm just away to take the girls to school and nursery but first I'm posting my Dt cards so I'd better typr fast as I only have 10 minutes before I have to leave!
At Cute Daisy May this week it's a colour combo is blue and green. Here's mine.
I thjink all the papers I have used for this one are all K&co but from different packs. All the bubble stickers are from Aries Crafts as are the flowers and the little bead caps.
And my second card is for Squigglefly where Rhonda has asked for circles. I used a circle template from the Cutting Cafe for my card base. It's quite small so I didn't embelish it ...much, but I did use loads of circles.
The image is of course from Squigglefly, paper from Kaboodles (will add link later) and basic grey. The circle things? stamps is from Inkadinkadoo and buttons from my stash. And job done :)
Right I'd better run!

The Sugar Bowl challenge
I made this card 2 days ago for the Sugar Bowl challenge but forgot to post it, well to be honest I didn't forget to post it, I just didn't bother. My hearts just not in it just now and I am really struggling to make a decent card. Anyway you don't want to hear me feeling sorry for myself, you came to see my card. The challenge over at the Sugar Bowl is a sketch by Judy and the extra of making handmade flowers. Here's what I managed to come up with.
I would never normaly use a red and brown colour combo but I had a red K&Co stack on my table and mucked about making these flowers with it then couldn't be bothered making more in another colour for my card so I just stuck with the red (and used soem otehr red paper from a DCWV stack too) and the brown was another K&Co stack that was lying there so I just took the top sheet out and used it. My thinking was if it looks terrible together it doesn't really matter because it will probably look terrible no matter what colours I use, so that's where my colour combo came from. That was a bit long winded wasn't it? lol.
I really wanted to use this Sugar Nellie stamp because I bought 4 a few months back and have only used 2 of them so wanted to ink them up and this is one of them. I realised after I had made half the card and hadn't coloured my image, that all my red copics are running out! (again!!) so I decided I would paper piece her.Probably not the best idea I have ever had. It's not one of my stamps I would of choose if I knew I would be paper piecing because she has tiny fiddly bits to cut out, but I did it anyway. I used the same K&Co papers on her and only coloured her hair and skin and the little butterfly because that would just be silly to paper piece it lol.
The dragonflies on the strip of red are a stamp I got free in a magazine and I just stamped a few randomly with distress ink.
The ric rac at the top is velvet feel stuff and is there to cover an accident, it is lighter irl. I did put 2 rows of pearls with pearl paint but I forgot I had left it to dry and put something else on top of it, so it was all squashed and a bit of a mess!
I think that's it for this card. Oh I made my flowers with the SU! 5 petal punch and a Dovecraft flower punch. Punched 3 SU! ones and 2 of the Dovecraft ones for each flower. Embossed the backs to curl them and layered them up.
Well that's it from me, hope you are all having a great weekend. I may not be making much cards but I will stop by your blogs to see what you have been up to :)

Digital Tuesday - Male cards!
The challeneg this week at Digital Tuesday is "Male Cards" and we have a wonderful sponsor this week, Regina from The Cutting Cafe who if offering the winner 3 of her sets of the winners choice! The cutting Cafe has some fab cutting files and digital stamp sets that you can check out here.
Regina was also very generous and gave our design team some of her shaped cutting files to play with for this challenge. A lot of girls have used the star but I chose to use the half circle. I also made a card with the frame shape because I really liked that one too.
I tried something different (again) with this card, obviously the shape is different to what I normaly do lol, but I mean with the image. I printed out 2 of the cute squirrels from Digital Stamp Oasis, coloured the first one and part of the other and cut one out with a large scallop cirle nestie and the other with one of the smaller ones then lined the smaller one up and stuck it on top with some silicone glue, so it's 3d. I really like the way it turned out. What about you?
The papers are K&Co and I inked them all and also my card base and around my image too.I love the shape of this one. Think you might be seeing a few cards like this from me!
The papers are all downloads from Summer Driggs. If you visit me often you will know that I love her papers and use them a lot. The cute monkey is from Mo's Digital pencill. I love Mo's work. If you haven't checked her out, you don't know what your missing. Seriously her work rocks! The Worlds Best and Son are were freebies from a magazine which I just cut out and stuck out and for the sentiment I just cut out some dp into a badge kind of shape and wrote on it with a white gel pen.
I usually have a real hard time with male cards but with these shaped cards it makes it so much easier because you don't need to put a lot on them to make them look good.
I can't wait to see all your male cards this week. The entries for Ellie's sketch last week were wonderful and I am so glad I pick the winner at random because I would have such a hard time trying to choose between them!
Thanks for stopping by today, hope you like what you see.

Where have the images gone?
It's time for another Cute Daisy May and Squigglefly challenge.
This week on Cute Daisy May the challenge is called "The Word", the main part of your card has to be words not an image! And would you believe it, over at Squigglefly Kim has asked us to make a card with no image just a sentiment!!!
Well I managed the Daisy May one because I was allowed an image, I just wasn't allowed it to be the main part of my card, but the Squigglfly one OMG I had no idea what to do for that one! I am so used to using cute images that I didn't know what to do without them lol. But I know you crafty lot will come up with something fantastic :)
So here's my card for Cute Daisy May. I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday
All the papers I have used on the one are from a magazine! I don't use papers out of magazines except from Creative Cardmaking, they are always lovely and thick not like the magazine paper you usualy get a freebies. I only really buy this mag for the papers because they give you loads of them in each issue.
The image is of course one of Linnie's Cute Daisy May fairies, which by the way she has new sheets again with fairies on, you have to check them out. The lovely verse was a RAK I got from my good friendLisa(Alyssa's cabin) and I thought it went perfect with oneof the CDM faries.
All the flowers are Primas available at Aries Crafts and everything else from my stash.
Now here's my card for Squigglefly.
The sentiment I used is the only Squigglefly one I have and it actually came with one of their images. I know this is not one of the best cards I have made and to be honest I really didn't want to show it but I had already sent it to Kim so here it is.
I am having a real hard time making cards just now, so not having an image really threw me.
The papers again are from the same magazine. All the stickers are from a bubble a bilities pack from Aries Crafts and the flowers are also from Aries Crafts. I drew some faux stitching around the card and the sentiment just because it looked so plain and went over the writing with a glue pen and added some blue glitter.
Well I hope you can coem up with something better that this lol.
I'm off now to get my DT card for the Little Yellow Comapny done.

Just for fun.
I got some goodies from Aries Crafts a while ago and made a few cards with them but I haven't made any more since I went away for a week so thought I'd better get off my bum and make some more things with them to send off to Ian and Lynne the owners of Aries Crafts.
I have two things to show, the first is another card with one of the horse stamps I got.
I've tried a few different things today to see if it would maybe kick start my mojo and this was one of them. I didn't use any designer paper!!! Instead a used a small piece of plain handmade paper which had part of a small leaf in it and stamped it with some tapestry stamps that I have had for over a year but had never used before. I also stamped the base card with these adn around the horses after I had stamped them and embossed with clear embossing powder. I didn't even colour the horses! and just when you think I couldn't get more out of my comfort zone if I tried, I didn't add no flowers! Instead I used a Anna Griffin punch to punch some butterflies. The English Countryside stamp was in a bargain box from Artymiss about a year ago and it's another one I have never used. So all in all a good day for my neglected stash. I'm not sure if I like it but it was fun to make.
Now for the second thing I made. I had been playing with the idea of doing something with a puzzle piece after seeing Donalda use one the other day, then today I saw one on Susies blog that she had also made into a wall hanging. So I finally found a large puzzle piece from one of the kids old puzzles and got to work. Everything I have used except the paints, inks and embossing powder is from Aries Crafts. Oh and ribbon and bead string is from my stash.
All the altered puzzle pieces I have seen recently on people's blogs have been cute ones which are lovely but I wanted to try something different for a change and as I said use up some of the stash I got from Aries Crafts who sponsor me. So first of all as this puzzle had a very shiney surface, I painted over Postman Pat lol as I didn't have any primer, then I covered the front with clear embossing ink and poured on gold embossing powder and heated until it was all melted then heated a few random bits some more just because I felt like it lol.
I cut out some scalloped circles with my nesties one on the doggie paper to mat my image on and the other in white shimmery card then stamped the dog which is from a Hero Arts set. I then tore some of the dog paper and stuck that on, stamped the here comes trouble and woof tag stamps from the same Hero Arts set onto some of the dog papers and stuck them and added some gold bead string and some ribbon.
I'm not sure about this either but it was real fun to make and I think I will have to do more of them. I found a Postman Pat puzzle that had 2 pieces missing so I have another 47 pieces to play with! lol
Now I'm off to do some blog hopping and see what you have all been up to.

Another Little Yellow Challenge
Good morning, I hope you are all having a good start to the day.
It's that time of the week again and we have another fab challenge for you over at the Little Yellow Challenge . This week Claire is asking to see pink and green on your cards or projects.
This week we are sponsored by Penny from Penny's creations who is offering the winner two of her digi downloads. This week Claire is asking that you only use a LYC image if you want to be entered for the prize but even if you don't have any yet, you can still join in just for fun using any images you have.
I made a card this week with another one of the robots from the LYC robots set just to show that these robots are not just for boy cards. There are 3 different robots in the set (one of which I used on my DT card last week) and they are all fab.
The papers I have used are both downloads, I am not sure where the green one came from but the pink is from the set I won over at the Kaboodle challenge. They have some lovely paper downloads and this particular set has loads of different coloured papers in it.
My flowers are punched from the same papers with my SU! 5 petal punch then stamped with a tiny swirl punch that I got free in a magazine. Spacers and green gems (they are green honest lol) from my stash. I didn't want to overload this card with embelishments but wanted to make it girly at the same time so I just added the flowers.
I hope some of you will pop by the challenge blog and join in this week and also have a peek at my teamie Karens card while your there.

Digital Tuesday a sketch
Good morning, it's time for another digital Tuesday challenge. The entries last week for the bling challenge were amazing and I really enjoyed visiting everyone's blogs to see what they had made.
This weeks challenge is sponsored by Digital Delights by Louby Loo. Wendy has a great selection of digi's which you check out here and she is offering the winner of this weeks challenmge a $10 gift certificate to spend in her store.
Ellie is our hostess this week and she has made a sketch for us to follow.which you can flip, rotate etc and add as many embelies as you like.
Here's the card I made although I'm really not sure of it but it's the best your gonna get from me just now lol
Sorry about another terrible picture! The sentiment on the bottom is by Stampin UP! and says best wishes. It does show up well irl though.
The papers I used are downloads but I can't remember where I got this ones. The cute image is from Fred She Said which I have coloured with copics and used diamond stickles on her wings. I didn't stick her wings down so I could curl them a bit for some dimention.
Well what do you think? Is my mojo returning or is it still on holiday?

Cute Daisy May and Squigglefly DT cards
Good morning, it's time for another Cute Daisy May challenge. This week Net has set the challenge of Floral Fantasy and we all know how much everyone loves their blooms so this will be an easy challenge for you all.
I was going to do loads of flowers but just couldn't get it to look right so I decided I would follow the sketch over at Stampin for the weekend and I added an extra flower in the top right corner. A spoonfull of Sugars challenge is also floral fantasy so I am entering it for that too. The papers I have used are more of the Summer Driggs ones from the same set I used on my last card, told you I love em. The flowers are a total mix, but I have to tell you that I got the little roses from Lorraine in my candy win, aren't they just cute lol.
Now onto this weeks Squigglefly challenge which has been set by Rhonda so you can see her teams card over on the Squigglefly blog, but remember to look at the rest of the DT cards on their own blogs too. And her challenge is Fall Colours, oranges, reds, yellows, dark greens etc you get the picture.
I was going to do a Autumn (or fall) card for this one but after looking at the Squigglefly images I have, I didn't really have anything that I could use (I will have to get over to Squigglefly and buy some!) so I used some of the colours and made a male card instead. Not the best kind of card to try make when your mojo has gone out the window but I tried lol. I followed the sketch at Sketch Saturday for this one.
I can't remember where the papers came from for this one and the buttons and ribbons are just from my stash.
That's it from me for now. I might be back later with a card but if not, I will be back tomorrow for Digital Tuesday.

I think I may have found my mojo!
I think my mojo is returning :) I managed to make a card tonight for the Just magnolia challenge which is a sketch by Martine this week.
I got a lovely package in the post this morning which really got me motivated to make something. I won first prize in Lorraine's (Coldwaters) blog candy and it arrived this morning :) I had seen the pic on her blog of the prize but I was still in shock at the amount of lovely goodies she sent, along with a beautiful card too. Thank you so much Lorraine, you really made my day :)
So I got 2 DT cards made and the one I made for the challenge too, which I am happy about because I never thought I would get my DT cards done this week. Still got 3 DT cards to make for this week, and some for Aries Crafts who sponsor me, but hopefully I will get most of that done tomorrow.
So here's my card for Just Magnolia
The sketch has the option of just using an image or making a tag so I thought I would make a tag with my image on it, so I made the blue panel into a pocket to hold the tag then cut out my image and thought it didn't look right with the image stuck onto the tag because you wouldn't be able to see her legs, so I ended up sticking the tag onto the card and sticking Tilda on top.
The papers and tag I have used are freebie downloads from Summer Driggs, I think these are my favourite papers by Summer. I have used the papers from this set loads and I never get tired of using them.
I coloured Tilda with Copics but as most of them are running out, I couldn't use the colours I wanted so I had to use a brighter blue than I would have liked but never mind. I also used a Stampin Up white gel pen for highlights.
Flowers are punched from the same set of papers with the SU! 5 petal punch and my Dovecraft one and the tiny blue ones are Primas. The sentiment is also Stampin Up.
Everything else is from my stash. Oh except the little bead caps which are from Aries Crafts.
I don't often use small bead caps like these but I really like this ones. They are pretty and perfect for smaller flowers. Aries Crafts have loads of new stock in, including loads of Hero Arts Christmas Stamps. Speaking about Aries Crafts, I will have a surprise in a few weeks for Aries crafts customers, so if you have purchased anything from there lately, do let me know ;)
Before I go, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who left me comments and helped me find my mojo lol. All your support and encouragement means a lot to me. You are all just the best friends ever xx

Mojo M.I.A reward for anyone who finds it!
I came home from holiday without my mojo and it still hasn't came back :(
I finally made a card tonight for a few challenges but it was a disaster from start to finish.
All my copics are running out and I didn't have any of the colours I needed so I had to use copics and distress inks which I am rubbish at using, and when I finally got the card finished it was dark and I couldn't get a photo of it no matter how hard I tried so I ended up scanning it, and the scan was just as bad as all the photos I took!
Anyway here is is
I followed the sketch by Jacqui over at the Whiff Of Joy challenge and used a WOJ image I got in a rak a while back. As I said, she is coloured with copics and distress inks andI also used some stickles on her trousers and on her bracelet which you can't really see here.
The challenge at Daring Cardmakers is to add bling and sparkle so I think I have that covered with the glitter on my image, my spacers and I also glittered all the brads I used on the flowers and around the sentiment too.
Cute Card Thursdays challenge this week is Let's get fruity, hence the strawberry paper and there is also fruit on my girls clothes.
Papertake Weekly's theme this week is 4 Seasons. use colours or things that remind you of 1 of the seasons. Strawberries remind me of summer and so does the image.
And finally for Pile It on you have to do at least one other challenge and use at least 3 flowers which I have also done.
So that's 5 challenges covered I think :) I don't normally combin lots of challenges but I have missed so much challenges lately that I had to combine some to catch up a bit.
Incase anyone is interested, the papers are Cosmo Cricket and DCWV and the sentiment is from Stampin Up!
Right I'm off to link to all these challenges then off to bed.
Hopefully my mojo will be homesick and come back to me tomorrow.
Hugs Lora x

Little Yellow Challenge- Anything but a card
I am so glad to be back blogging after nearly 2 weeks of not being able to go blog hopping!
I couldn't get internet while I was away to the caravan with Barry and the kids except last Saturday we found a library and got to check our emails.
I had no ID with me so they wouldn't let me use a computer but Barry had his driving license with him so he got to sign in as a guest and got half an hour on one of their computers. He had about 300 emails by this time and I had nearly 700 to go through so half an hour was no where near long enough to even check emails never mind go blog hopping lol.
But I'm back now and plan to do lots of bloghopping to see what you have all benn up to while I was away. I haven't had any time to make a card since I came home yesterday and I think my mojo is still on holiday. Hopefully he will return soon so I can get caught up with all my DT stuff and get some challenges done!
Speaking of challenges, the Little Yellow Challenge this week is to make anything but a card.
I made a quick little bag before I left to go on holiday. I had loads of DT stuff to make before I left so I wanted something quick and simple to do for this challenge as I didn't have much time to get it done, and this bag was really simple and quick to do.
Sorry about the fuzzy picture. I forgot to take a pic and had to take one last night indoors to send to Claire so she could put it on the challenge blog and this is the best I could get it because there was not a lot of light.
I have used some 12x12 paper I have had lying around for ages (not sure who it's by). I used my Fiskars border punch for the decorative edge and one of the Eastern Birds from the Little Yellow Company, coloured with Copics and inked around the image with lilac ink then cut out with my scalloped circle nestie. The purple lace is some from my stash which Barry bought me a while back.
It's great to see some more entries into the challenges and I look forward to seeing more this week ;) You don't have to use a LYC image if you don't have any. We just want to see you make anything except a card. You could go for an easy option like I did or something more challenging, it's up to you. The prize this week is a selection of items to alter as well as the oppurtunity to be a guest designer for us for the rest of August! so what you waiting for, get creating.

I couldn't get internet while I was away to the caravan with Barry and the kids except last Saturday we found a library and got to check our emails.

Digital Tuesday - Bling
It's time for another Digital Tuesday Challenge!
Thank you to everyone who joined in with last weeks challenge. I'm sorry I didn't to come see your cards but I couldn't get internet access while I was away, but I will make up for that this week and make sure I visit everyone of you that enters :)
This weeks it's Carisa's turn to be hostess and she has set the challenge of bling. So all you got to do is make something, a card. lay out, alter something or whatever else you please using a digital images and bling it up. Glitterbabe this is your calling lol. If you know the fabulous Stef then you will know what I mean :)
Our sponsor this week is My Grafico, who kindly gave the DT a set of their digi stamps to use for the challenge. We choose the Slumber Party set and when you see how cute it is you will see why we all like it so much. My Grafico have loads and loads of gorgeous digi sets and have something for everyone. I must warn you though, if you love digi's then keep a tight hold on that credit card! You can view all their digi stamps here
So armed with the fab digi set, some stickles and a few other bling bits, here's what I made.
Isn't this set adorable? I really love it and can see me using it for a lot of little girl cards.
There is actually 3 girls in the set and I couldn't choose which one to use on my card, so I coloured them all and asked my 4 year old Chiara to pick one and this is the one she liked best. I was just going to use the nail polish but Chiara decided we were having the lippie too! Of course I had to add some stickles (diamond) to everything lol. It's on the nail polish and lipstick, the girls slippers and bows too. To continue with the bling theme, I used some spacers from my stash on my Prima flowers (from Aries Crafts) and added some pink gems in the middle but I don't think you can see them here because of the light when I took the pic.
The papers I used are Bo Bunny and Basic Grey.
Well what do you think?
I can't wait to see what you come up with for this challenge, I'm prepared to be blinged out this week by your creations!!
Hugs Lora

Sketch and Stash and Cute Daisy May
Today is my last day as guest designer for sketch and stash and I must say I have really enjoyed doing the sketches:)
There is no optional extra for the challenge this time, just follow the sketch.
Here's my take on the sketch.
It's a simple sketch but I liked using this one. The papers I have used are all from Bo Bunny and the Gorjuss girl image is one I have been hoarding because I didn't want to use it up lol.
My lace was a tiny piece in the bottom of my ribbon box that had been neglected.
Flowers as always are from Aries crafts except the two tone roses which I got when I went to visit Barry's mum 2 weeks ago.
My second card is for Cute Daisy May and the challenge is Early Christmas!!
I have used 2 of Linnie's daisy May downloads. Not the kind of images I would normaly go for but there is just something about these that I like.
The glittery dp is by Making Memories that I have had since last Christmas and the lovely flowers are Primas from Aries Crafts. I have added some stickles to both the images and also my flowers. Do you think there is maybe enough glitter on this card lol
Well that's it from me, I should be home later today to catch up with everyone.
