A challenge card and help needed please

Good morning girls and boys (just in case), I didn't a chance to make anything yesterday while the kids were at school because I was at their school all day too helping out, so I sat down last night and made a card when everyone went to bed.
I am entering this one into two challenges. I followed the sketch over at the Simon Says challenge and A Spoofull Of Sugar is asking for distressing this week so my card fits that challenge too.

I have used circles instead of ovals because I don't have any oval nesties yet :( and I also left out the ribbon that was in the sketch because I forgot to put it on before I stuck on all my flowers.
I used a Whiff Of Joy image that my lovely friend Lorraine sent me a few months ag0 and have coloured her with Copics. I wanted to distress the edges of my papers ( which are all Basic Grey) but I don't have one of those distressing tool things and I couldn't find a file (which is what I normaly use) so I just inked the edges of the papers the scratched around them with my fingernail. It worked a treat :) I then went over the edges again with some more ink.
I embossed one of the circles the inked over it and around the edges and pretty much inked around everything else too lol.
My flowers are punched out of some of the scraps I had left over and I stamped on them with a Anna Griffin background stamp. Swirls are punched from my All Night Media punch then inked and the little leaves are punched with a tiny punch I bought at Aries Crafts, which they sell for just over £1!.
Sentiment is Stampin Up and I also punched it out with the Stampin Up scalloped oval punch.

Well that's my card out of the way, now I want to ask you all a favour.
Erin who I am on the Fred She Said design team with has asked if we could help by sending cards to her 12 year old neighbour who was in a boating accident and has lost her arm. You will find the details on Erin's blog here and also a link to read an article about it.
Hope you can all help and maybe put a smile on this brave little girls face.

Your card took my breath away. Your details are what makes it. So amazing.
And what a sad story for the girl. I will say a prayer for her.

Gorgeous card Lora :-) I am sure Paige will love this card ( I will be making one for her too,, poor girl :-( ) The paper has a lovely lacy stripe across,, would have been a shame to cover that with a ribbon :-)
for a distressing tool,, I use one of those stitch unpickers/stitch cutters,, works brilliantly !!

Thanks for joining this weeks special Simon Says Stamp Challenge :-)
