A CAS Inky Impressions

The weather here today is terrible :( It's been really windy all day and apparently we will be having up to 80mph winds after 5pm!! It's 4.45pm now, so I'd better write this quick incase my internet connection goes!

It's my turn to do the Inspiration post over at the Inky Impressions Inspirational blog, and as we have some new Inky boy stamps, I thought I would try my hand at a CAS male card!! ( I scare myslef even thinking about making male cards, never mind a CAS one!, so this really was a challenge for me! lol)

Sorry about the pic. The card is much brighter in real life, but I couldn't take a pic outside or else it would of flown away!

I used Christopher's Catch from Inky Impressions and coloured him with the usual Promarkers.
I'm not sure who makes the papers (sorry I haven't been very good at knowing which make things are this last few weeks, because I have no real paper stash that I have bought myself, everything I have been using has been sent to me from my lovely DT girls at By The Cute and Girly because I lost all mine in the flood/fire).

I think it was a bit easier to make it cas because the papers are really bright and have a  lot going on, so I just added a few buttons to finish.
I did want to add more embellies though, but had to stop myself lol. What else can you really put on a male card though apart from buttons? answers on a postcard please because I always get stuck at the embellie part when I make male cards.

Here's Christopher's close up as always.

I am entering the C.R.A.F.T challenge today where the challenge is children and also Stamp Something where it's anything goes.
It's stamp somethings last challenge this week :( I have been a fan of their challenge blog for a long time, so it's sad to see it end, but it's been fun entering their challenges whenever I could.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you will check out the Inky Impressions Inspirational blog to see all the other posts by the amazing design team, and also the challenge blog where there is always some fab inspiration too. The challenge just now is a colour combo of brown and cornflower blue (or as close as you can get to that shade) and although we love to see you using the Inky Impressions stamps, you can use any stamp to join in with the challenge.
