FSS Challenge and Cute Daisy May.

Before I start, I have to tell you this is a long post but please do read down to the bottom to get info about the FSS challenge because it is fab!
It the start of another week and a new challenge over at Cute Daisy May. The challenge this week is "Fairy Nuff" in other words, use a fairy on your card/project. Of course you can use any images you like but if you have any daisy's we would love to see them.
I finally got my card finished last night, I haven't been able to move for Rhianna since she got her teeth out, she is being a Mummy's girl and is stuck to me like glue just now, so the only time I have had to craft is with her and I end up not getting anything done then because she wants me to help her lol.
Anyway, here's what I finally came up with.
The papers are a mixture of Basic Grey, Fancy Pants and Crafts House. the flowers I think came from Lorraine a few months back (I have been hoarding them because I like them so much) and I stuck a tiny satin rose in the middle. The image of course is Dasiy May and is coloured with Copics I used some stickles on her wings. Everything else is from my stash.

Now I have something else to tell you about that I should of been posting about last week! But with me being ill and Rhiannas dentist trip, I have only just got back to normal.
Fred She Said has been celebrating World Cardmaking Day with a challenge. You can use any FSS product or freebie and all you have to do is make a card and enter using Mr Linky or you can even email Fred your card if you don't have a blog. You can find all the info you need here.
And the best bit is that Fred is offering a $25 CAD gift certificate for the Fred She Said Store and also a $25 USD gift certificate for www.CraftStop.com. How cool is that??
Now you only have till midnight tonight to enter so you better get your skates on. Told you I was a bit late in posting lol, but better late than never I say, well that's my excuse anyway and I'm sticking to it!.
Tracey has just added the cutest little puppy to her store in coloured and uncoloured versions.
Rosie is Tracey's new puppy and is the most adorable ball of fluff ever! I have made a card using Rosie but my grey/black Copics have ran out and I waiting for them to be delivered (hopefully today) so little black and white Rosie has had a makeover and is now brown. There is actually a brown coloured version of Rosie in the store and also and auburn one so I didn't do as bad as I thought lol.
I was going to use the coloured version but my ink in my printer is also running out and it printed the image dog out pink and the grass yellow so didn't think that was a good idea lol.
Here's my version of Rosie.

I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday for this one. This sketch was perfect for using up scraps of paper, and I have loads of those so I am pleased with myself for using some up. Ellie is also having her own challenge to use up scraps so I'm joining her with this card too. You can enter here . It is just for fun so no prizes but hopefully it will get some of you using up your scraps :) I did notice after I made it that I had to use punches so just as well I used some for my flowers and my sentiment.
I have used a mix of papers again all from my scrap box, this time Basic Grey, K&C and the paw prints ones are by the Paper Studio and are available at Aries Crafts.
Sentiment is Stampin Up and punched out with the SU! oval scallop punch, flowers punched with SU! 5 petal punch a and a Dovecraft punch.
I was going to use Rosie as she was on the card with the grass under her but my lovely Daughter has lost my guard for my cutter which holds the paper in place so every time I cut, the paper/card moves and it cuts squint, and that's what happened to Rosie and her grass got chopped off so I had to cut her out. Which would of been easy enough but my kids had 3 pairs of my scissors yesterday (1 pair each) and decided that they wouldn't put them back but instead they would put them where I can't find them!! So I had to use a knife to cut out my doggie and her flower. So basically this card was a disaster from start to finish but I still think this little doggie is the cutest, don't you?
Well I am off on a scissor hunt! You never know I might find the guard for my cutter too. Don't know how she managed to get that lost because it's not exactly little, it's A3 size!
I should be back later today with another card if I find something to cut with! And maybe a quick pic of some extra bits for my blog candy if I can get my camera to play ball.

Hi Lora love both your cards both of which show your wonderful touch I was to late to enter FSS challenge even though I have quite a bit of her stuff including that cute little puppy which I haven't used yet, I buy these digital images then store them in folders and forget that I have them.....wonder if any one else does that lol.

Give Rhianna a hug from me.

Oh your Rosey is so cute! LOL re the inks.... considering your creativity challenges ( empty copics, empty printer and crazy cutter), it came out wonderful! How is your wee one's mouth? Emma had several baby root canals done last year... I wanted them to yank them out to save her all the trips and gas/needles... ouchy.

Hugs, Fred
